每年我們又將地上初熟的土產和各樣樹上初熟的果子，都奉到耶和華的殿裏。

凡最好的新油、最好的新酒和五穀，就是以色列人獻給耶和華的初熟之物，我都賜給你。凡他們從地上所帶來給耶和華的初熟之物也都要歸給你。你家中任何潔淨的人都可以吃。

就要從耶和華－你神所賜你的地上，將收成的各種初熟土產取一些來，盛在筐子裏，帶到那裏，耶和華－你神選擇作為他名居所的地方，

萬民的習俗是虛空的；偶像不過是從樹林中砍來的木頭，是匠人用斧頭做成的手工。

「你要吩咐以色列人，對他們說：你們到了我賜給你們的地，收割莊稼的時候，要把初熟莊稼中的一捆拿來給祭司。他要把這捆在耶和華面前搖一搖，使你們蒙悅納。祭司要在安息日的次日把這捆搖一搖。搖這捆的那一日，你們要獻一隻一歲沒有殘疾的小公綿羊，給耶和華作燔祭。同獻的素祭是十分之二伊法調了油的細麵，作為獻給耶和華馨香的火祭；同獻的澆酒祭是四分之一欣酒。無論是餅，是烘熟的穀物，是新穗子，你們都不可吃；直等到你們把這供物帶來獻給你們神的那一天，才可以吃。在你們一切的住處，這要成為你們世世代代永遠的定例。」「你們要從安息日的次日，就是獻那捆莊稼為搖祭的那日起，計算足足的七個安息日。到第七個安息日的次日，共計五十天，你們要將新的素祭獻給耶和華。要從你們的住處取十分之二伊法細麵，加酵烤成兩個搖祭的餅，作為初熟之物獻給耶和華。

義人顧惜他牲畜的命；惡人的憐憫也是殘忍。

但耶和華－你們的神在你們各支派中選擇何處作為立他名的居所，你們就要到那裏求問，將你們的燔祭、祭物、十一奉獻、手中的舉祭、還願祭、甘心祭，以及牛羣羊羣中頭生的，都帶到那裏。在那裏，你們和你們的全家都可以在耶和華－你們神的面前吃，並且因你們手所做的一切蒙耶和華－你的神賜福而歡樂。

這些人未曾沾染婦女，他們原是童身。羔羊無論往哪裏去，他們都跟隨他。他們是從人間買來的，作為初熟的果子歸給神和羔羊。

其實，基督已經從死人中復活，成為睡了之人初熟的果子。
