「我的子民中有困苦人在你那裏，你若借錢給他，不可如放債的向他取利息。

“我民中有贫穷人与你同住，你若借钱给他，不可如放债的向他取利。

“我的子民中有困苦人在你那里，你若借钱给他，不可如放债的向他取利息。

“我的子民中有困苦人在你那里，你若借钱给他，不可如放债的向他取利息。

“倘若有贫苦的同胞向你借钱，你不可像放债的一样从中取利。

“如果你借钱给我的人民，就是与你们在一起的穷人，你对待他们不可像放债的人一样，不可在他们身上取利。

「倘若有貧苦的同胞向你借錢，你不可像放債的一樣從中取利。

“如果你借錢給我的人民，就是與你們在一起的窮人，你對待他們不可像放債的人一樣，不可在他們身上取利。

『我的人民中有貧困的人在你附近；你若把銀錢借給他，不可像放債的對待他，不可在那上頭加利息。

吾民貧者、與爾偕居、若貸之金、勿為債主、而取其利、

如我民貧乏、而爾貸以金、毋取利、毋迫索。

我民中之貧者、與爾同處、爾若貸之以銀、毋如計利者使之償息、

“ If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest.

“ Suppose you lend money to one of my people among you who is in need. Then do not treat it like a business deal. Do not charge any interest at all.

“ If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him.

“ If you lend money to any of my people who are in need, do not charge interest as a money lender would.

“ If you lend silver to my people, to the poor person among you, you must not be like a creditor to him; you must not charge him interest.

“ If you lend money to My people, to the poor among you, you are not to act as a creditor to him; you shall not charge him interest.

“ If you lend money to any of My people who are poor among you, you shall not be like a moneylender to him; you shall not charge him interest.

If thou lend money to any of my people with thee that is poor, thou shalt not be to him as a creditor; neither shall ye lay upon him interest.

“ If you lend money to My people, to the poor person among you, you must not be like a moneylender to him; you must not charge him interest.

If thou lend money to[ any of] my people[ that is] poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

“ If you lend money to any of my people who are needy among you, do not be like a moneylender to him; do not charge him interest.

“ If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest.

他不放債取利，不受賄賂以害無辜。做這些事的人必永不動搖。

「你的弟兄在你那裏若漸漸貧窮，手頭缺乏，你就要幫補他，使他與你一同生活，像外人和寄居的一樣。不可向他取利息，也不可向他索取高利；要敬畏你的上帝，使你的弟兄與你一同生活。你不可為了利息借錢給他，也不可為了高利而借糧。

「你借給你弟兄的，無論是錢財是糧食，或任何可生利息的財物，都不可取利。借給外邦人可以取利，但借給你的弟兄就不可取利；好讓耶和華－你的上帝在你去得為業的地上和你手裏所做的一切，賜福給你。

未曾向人取利息，也未曾索取高利，反倒縮手不作惡，在人與人之間施行誠實的判斷；

我心裏作了決定，就斥責貴族和官長，對他們說：「你們各人借錢給弟兄，竟然索取利息！」於是我召開大會攻擊他們。

人以厚利增加財富，是給那憐憫貧寒人的積財。

縮手不害困苦人，未曾向人索取利息或高利；反倒順從我的典章，遵行我的律例；如此，他必不因父親的罪孽死亡，定要存活。

你那裏有收取報酬而流人血的。你取利息，又索取高利；欺壓鄰舍，奪取財物；你竟然忘了我。這是主耶和華說的。

婦人去告訴神人，神人說：「你去賣了油還債，你和你兩個兒子可以靠着所剩的過活。」

有個先知門徒的妻子哀求以利沙說：「你的僕人，我丈夫死了，他敬畏耶和華是你所知道的。現在有債主來，要帶走我的兩個孩子給他作奴隸。」

我的母親哪，我有禍了！因你生我作全地爭相指控的人。我素來沒有借貸給人，人也沒有借貸給我，人人卻都咒罵我。

向人取利息，索取高利，這人豈能存活呢？他不能存活。他因做這一切可憎的事，必要死亡，他的血要歸到自己身上。

有的說：「我們和兒女人口眾多，必須得糧食吃，才能活下去。」有的說：「我們典押了田地、葡萄園、房屋，才得糧食充飢。」有的說：「我們借了錢付田地和葡萄園的稅給王。現在，我們的身體與我們弟兄的身體是一樣的，我們的兒女與他們的兒女沒有差別。看哪，我們卻要迫使兒女作人的奴婢。我們有些女兒已被搶走了，我們卻無能為力，因為我們的田地和葡萄園已經歸了別人。」

我和我的弟兄僕人也要把銀錢糧食借給百姓，大家都當免除利息。就在今日，你們要把他們的田地、葡萄園、橄欖園、房屋，以及向他們所取銀錢的利息、糧食、新酒和新油都歸還他們。」

為甚麼不把我的銀子存在銀行，等我來的時候，連本帶利都取回來呢？』

就該把我的銀子放給兌換銀錢的人，到我來的時候可以連本帶利收回。
