「人若用棍子打奴僕或婢女，當場死在他的手下，他必受報應。

以杖擊僕婢、而斃杖下者、必受刑、

如擊僕婢、立斃杖下者、必受刑。

人若以杖擊奴婢、死於手下、必受刑、

“ Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result,

“ Suppose a person beats their male or female slave to death with a club. That person must be punished.

“ When a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged.

“ If a man beats his male or female slave with a club and the slave dies as a result, the owner must be punished.

“ When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod, and the slave dies under his abuse, the owner must be punished.

“ And if someone strikes his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies at his hand, he shall be punished.

“ And if a man beats his male or female servant with a rod, so that he dies under his hand, he shall surely be punished.

And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall surely be punished.

“ When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod, and the slave dies under his abuse, the owner must be punished.

And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.

“ If a man strikes his male servant or his female servant with a staff so that he or she dies as a result of the blow, he will surely be punished.

“ If a man strikes his servant or his maid with a rod, and he dies under his hand, the man shall surely be punished.

你的眼不可顧惜，要以命償命，以眼還眼，以牙還牙，以手還手，以腳還腳。」

若殺該隱，遭報七倍，殺拉麥的，必遭報七十七倍。

因為他是神的用人，是與你有益的。你若作惡，就該懼怕，因為他不是徒然佩劍；他是神的用人，為神的憤怒，報應作惡的。

「人若打奴僕或婢女的眼睛，毀了一隻，就要因他的眼讓他自由離去。若打掉了奴僕或婢女的一顆牙，就要因他的牙讓他自由離去。」

「我們禁食，你為何不看呢？我們刻苦己心，你為何不理會呢？」看哪，你們禁食的時候仍追求私利，剝削為你們做苦工的人。看哪，你們禁食，卻起紛爭興訟，以兇惡的拳頭打人。你們今日這種禁食無法使你們的聲音聽聞於高處。

耶和華對他說：「既然如此，凡殺該隱的，必遭報七倍。」耶和華就給該隱立一個記號，免得人遇見他就殺他。

凡流人血的，他的血也必被人所流，因為神造人，是照自己的形像造的。

僕人不能靠言語受教；他即使明白，也不回應。

報血仇者可以親自殺死那故意殺人的；他一找到兇手，就可以殺死他。

「無論誰殺了人，必須憑幾個證人的口，才可把那故意殺人的處死；只憑一個證人，不足以判人死。那犯死罪的殺人犯，你們不可收贖價來代替他的命；他必須被處死。那逃到逃城的人，你們不可向他收贖價，使他在大祭司未死以先回本地居住。這樣，你們就不會污穢所住之地，因為血能使地污穢；若有血流在地上，除非流那殺人者的血，否則那地就不得潔淨。
