『人若彼此爭鬧，這個用石頭或拳頭擊打那個，還不至於死，不過病倒在床上；

“人若彼此相争，这个用石头或是拳头打那个，尚且不至于死，不过躺卧在床，

“人若彼此争吵，一个用石头或拳头打另一个，被打的人没有死去，却要躺卧在床，

倘若斗殴时一方用拳头或石块致另一方受伤、躺卧在床，但不至于死，

“如果人彼此争论，一个用石头或拳头打另一个，但他还没有死，不过要躺在床上，

彼此相爭、有為拳石所擊、命弗致傷、委頓床第、

人若相鬥、或以石擊、或以拳擊、尚未致死、但病臥於床、

“ If people quarrel and one person hits another with a stone or with their fist and the victim does not die but is confined to bed,

“ Suppose two people get into a fight and argue with each other. One hits the other with a stone or his fist. And the person who was hit does not die but has to stay in bed.

“ When men quarrel and one strikes the other with a stone or with his fist and the man does not die but takes to his bed,

“ Now suppose two men quarrel, and one hits the other with a stone or fist, and the injured person does not die but is confined to bed.

“ When men quarrel and one strikes the other with a stone or his fist, and the injured man does not die but is confined to bed,

“ Now if people have a quarrel and one strikes the other with a stone or with a fist, and he does not die but is confined to bed,

“ If men contend with each other, and one strikes the other with a stone or with his fist, and he does not die but is confined to his bed,

And if men contend, and one smite the other with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keep his bed;

“ When men quarrel and one strikes the other with a stone or his fist, and the injured man does not die but is confined to bed,

And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with[ his] fist, and he die not, but keepeth[ his] bed:

“ If men fight, and one strikes his neighbor with a stone or with his fist and he does not die, but must remain in bed,

“ If men quarrel and one strikes the other with a stone, or with his fist, and he doesn’t die, but is confined to bed;

『人若用棍子擊打奴僕或使女，以致奴僕死在他手下，他一定必須受刑罰。

婢女有兩個兒子；他們二人在田間鬧爭鬪；沒有人從中排解；這一個就擊打那一個，竟把他殺死了。

第二天他出去，見有兩個希伯來人在爭鬪着，他就對那無理的人說：『你為甚麼擊打你同族的人呢？』

『人若爭鬪，擊傷懷孕的婦人，以至墜胎，卻沒有別的害處，那傷害她的總要受罰款，照婦人的丈夫所定的，在裁判官面前給錢。

『倘若人用鐵器擊打人，以致那人死去，那就是故意殺人的；故意殺人的、必須被處死。人若手中拿着會打死人的石頭去擊打人、以致那人死去，那就是故意殺人的；故意殺人的、必須被處死。或是人手裏拿着會打死人的木器去擊打人，以致那人死去，那就是故意殺人的；故意殺人的、必須被處死。報血仇的要親自把那故意殺人的打死；遇見他的時候，就可以把他打死。人若因怨恨人而把人推倒，或是懷着惡意往人身上扔東西，以致那人死去，或是因仇恨用手擊打人，以致那人死去，那擊打人的必須被處死，他是故意殺人的；報血仇的遇見那故意殺人的，就可以把他打死。『人若沒有仇恨、突然將人推倒、或是沒有懷着惡意、而往人身上扔甚麼器物，或是沒有看見的時候、用會打死人的石頭丟落在人身上，以致那人死去，實質與他無仇，也不是想法子要害他的；那麼、會眾就要按照這些典章在擊打人者與報血仇者之間審判是非。

『人在一起彼此爭鬪，若其中一人的妻子走近前來、要援救她丈夫脫離那擊打他者的手，便伸手抓住那人的下體，
