“ I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

“ I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.

Then Moses said to the people,“ Commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery, because the Lord brought you out of it with a mighty hand. Eat nothing containing yeast. (niv)

I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it. (niv)

“ But I have been the Lord your God ever since you came out of Egypt. You shall acknowledge no God but me, no Savior except me. (niv)

Use honest scales and honest weights, an honest ephah and an honest hin. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt. (niv)

But the Egyptians mistreated us and made us suffer, subjecting us to harsh labor.Then we cried out to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, and the Lord heard our voice and saw our misery, toil and oppression.So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders. Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day. (niv)

Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. (niv)

I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.” (niv)

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (niv)

“ Listen, my people, and I will speak; I will testify against you, Israel: I am God, your God. (niv)

“ This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord.“ I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. (niv)

Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, (niv)

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile— the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, (niv)

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these signs of mine among themthat you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the Lord.”So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said to him,“ This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says:‘ How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, so that they may worship me.If you refuse to let them go, I will bring locusts into your country tomorrow.They will cover the face of the ground so that it cannot be seen. They will devour what little you have left after the hail, including every tree that is growing in your fields.They will fill your houses and those of all your officials and all the Egyptians— something neither your parents nor your ancestors have ever seen from the day they settled in this land till now.’” Then Moses turned and left Pharaoh.Pharaoh’s officials said to him,“ How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the people go, so that they may worship the Lord their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is ruined?”Then Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh.“ Go, worship the Lord your God,” he said.“ But tell me who will be going.”Moses answered,“ We will go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, and with our flocks and herds, because we are to celebrate a festival to the Lord.”Pharaoh said,“ The Lord be with you— if I let you go, along with your women and children! Clearly you are bent on evil.No! Have only the men go and worship the Lord, since that’s what you have been asking for.” Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh’s presence.And the Lord said to Moses,“ Stretch out your hand over Egypt so that locusts swarm over the land and devour everything growing in the fields, everything left by the hail.”So Moses stretched out his staff over Egypt, and the Lord made an east wind blow across the land all that day and all that night. By morning the wind had brought the locusts;they invaded all Egypt and settled down in every area of the country in great numbers. Never before had there been such a plague of locusts, nor will there ever be again.They covered all the ground until it was black. They devoured all that was left after the hail— everything growing in the fields and the fruit on the trees. Nothing green remained on tree or plant in all the land of Egypt. (niv)

“ At that time,” declares the Lord,“ I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.” (niv)

Therefore the Lord his God delivered him into the hands of the king of Aram. The Arameans defeated him and took many of his people as prisoners and brought them to Damascus. He was also given into the hands of the king of Israel, who inflicted heavy casualties on him. (niv)
