眾論僉同、對曰、耶和華所諭、敢弗奉行、摩西乃以民言覆於耶和華、耶和華曰、我乘密雲、臨格爾上、我與爾言、俾民聽聞、而篤信爾、歷久弗渝。

眾民同聲相應曰、凡主所諭、我必遵行、摩西以民之言覆於主、

The people all responded together,“ We will do everything the Lord has said.” So Moses brought their answer back to the Lord.

又将约书念给百姓听。他们说：“耶和华所吩咐的，我们都必遵行。”

摩西下山，将耶和华的命令典章都述说与百姓听。众百姓齐声说：“耶和华所吩咐的，我们都必遵行。”

对摩西说：“求你和我们说话，我们必听；不要神和我们说话，恐怕我们死亡。”

你今日认耶和华为你的神，应许遵行他的道，谨守他的律例、诫命、典章，听从他的话。耶和华今日照他所应许你的，也认你为他的子民，使你谨守他的一切诫命，又使你得称赞、美名、尊荣，超乎他所造的万民之上，并照他所应许的使你归耶和华你神为圣洁的民。”

百姓回答约书亚说：“我们必侍奉耶和华我们的神，听从他的话。”

都随从他们贵胄的弟兄，发咒起誓，必遵行神藉他仆人摩西所传的律法，谨守遵行耶和华我们主的一切诫命、典章、律例；

求你近前去，听耶和华我们神所要说的一切话，将他对你说的话都传给我们，我们就听从遵行。’“你们对我说的话，耶和华都听见了。耶和华对我说：‘这百姓的话，我听见了；他们所说的都是。惟愿他们存这样的心敬畏我，常遵守我的一切诫命，使他们和他们的子孙永远得福。
