他說：「耶和華從西奈來，從西珥向他們顯現，從巴蘭山發出光輝；從萬萬聖者中來臨，從他右手向他們發出烈火的律法。

日落天黑的時候，看哪，有冒煙的爐和燒着的火把從那些肉塊中經過。

當時他的聲音震動了地，但如今他應許說：「再一次我不單要震動地，還要震動天。」

因呼喊者的聲音，門檻的根基震動，殿裏充滿了煙雲。

耶和華說：「你出來站在山上，在耶和華面前。」看哪，耶和華從那裏經過。在耶和華面前有烈風大作，山崩石裂，耶和華卻不在風中；風後有地震，耶和華也不在其中；地震後有火，耶和華也不在火中；火以後，有輕微細小的聲音。

所羅門祈禱完畢，就有火從天降下來，燒盡燔祭和祭物。耶和華的榮光充滿了殿；因耶和華的榮光充滿了耶和華的殿，所以祭司不能進耶和華的殿。那火降下、耶和華的榮光在殿上的時候，以色列眾人看見，就在石板地俯伏敬拜，稱謝耶和華：「耶和華本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！」

你們要從我的山谷中逃跑，因為山谷必延到亞薩。你們要逃跑，如在猶大王烏西雅年間逃避大地震一樣。耶和華－我的神必降臨，所有的聖者與你同來。

民要攻打民，國要攻打國，多處必有饑荒、地震。

但主的日子要像賊一樣來到；那日，天必在轟然一聲中消失，天體都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的萬物都要燒盡。

大山因他震動，小山也都融化；大地在他面前突起，世界和住在其間的也都如此。他發憤恨，誰能立得住呢？他發烈怒，誰能當得起呢？他的憤怒如火傾洩而出，磐石因他崩裂。

那時，你們近前來，站在山下；山上有火燃燒，直沖天頂，並有黑暗、密雲、幽暗。耶和華從火焰中對你們說話，你們聽見說話的聲音，只有聲音，卻沒有看見形像。

大地啊，在主的面前，在雅各的神的面前，震動吧！

不可用手碰他，要用石頭打死，或射死；無論是人是牲畜，都不可活。』到角聲拉長的時候，他們才可到山腳來。」

你的雷聲在旋風之中，閃電照亮世界，大地戰抖震動。
