他说：“耶和华从西奈来，从西珥向他们显现，从巴兰山发出光辉；从万万圣者中来临，从他右手向他们发出烈火的律法。

日落天黑的时候，看哪，有冒烟的炉和烧着的火把从那些肉块中经过。

当时他的声音震动了地，但如今他应许说：“再一次我不单要震动地，还要震动天。”

因呼喊者的声音，门槛的根基震动，殿里充满了烟云。

耶和华说：“你出来站在山上，在耶和华面前。”看哪，耶和华从那里经过。在耶和华面前有烈风大作，山崩石裂，耶和华却不在风中；风后有地震，耶和华也不在其中；地震后有火，耶和华也不在火中；火以后，有轻微细小的声音。

所罗门祈祷完毕，就有火从天降下来，烧尽燔祭和祭物。耶和华的荣光充满了殿；因耶和华的荣光充满了耶和华的殿，所以祭司不能进耶和华的殿。那火降下、耶和华的荣光在殿上的时候，以色列众人看见，就在石板地俯伏敬拜，称谢耶和华：“耶和华本为善，他的慈爱永远长存！”

你们要从我的山谷中逃跑，因为山谷必延到亚萨。你们要逃跑，如在犹大王乌西雅年间逃避大地震一样。耶和华—我的神必降临，所有的圣者与你同来。

民要攻打民，国要攻打国，多处必有饥荒、地震。

但主的日子要像贼一样来到；那日，天必在轰然一声中消失，天体都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的万物都要烧尽。

大山因他震动，小山也都融化；大地在他面前突起，世界和住在其间的也都如此。他发愤恨，谁能立得住呢？他发烈怒，谁能当得起呢？他的愤怒如火倾泄而出，磐石因他崩裂。

那时，你们近前来，站在山下；山上有火燃烧，直冲天顶，并有黑暗、密云、幽暗。耶和华从火焰中对你们说话，你们听见说话的声音，只有声音，却没有看见形像。

大地啊，在主的面前，在雅各的神的面前，震动吧！

不可用手碰他，要用石头打死，或射死；无论是人是牲畜，都不可活。’到角声拉长的时候，他们才可到山脚来。”

你的雷声在旋风之中，闪电照亮世界，大地战抖震动。

众百姓见雷轰、闪电、角声、山上冒烟，百姓看见就都战抖，远远站着。
