耶和华的使者从荆棘里火焰中向摩西显现。摩西观看，不料，荆棘被火烧着，却没有烧毁。

耶和华啊，求你使天下垂，亲自降临，摸山，山就冒烟。

向所多玛和蛾摩拉与平原的全地观看，不料，那地方烟气上腾，如同烧窑一般。

“这些话是耶和华在山上，从火中、云中、幽暗中，大声晓谕你们全会众的；此外并没有添别的话。他就把这话写在两块石版上，交给我了。”

我观看大山，不料，尽都震动，小山也都摇来摇去。

他说：“耶和华从西奈而来，从西珥向他们显现，从巴兰山发出光辉，从万万圣者中来临，从他右手为百姓传出烈火的律法。

日落天黑，不料有冒烟的炉并烧着的火把从那些肉块中经过。

当时他的声音震动了地，但如今他应许说：“再一次我不单要震动地，还要震动天。”

因呼喊者的声音，门槛的根基震动，殿充满了烟云。

耶和华说：“你出来站在山上，在我面前。”那时耶和华从那里经过，在他面前有烈风大作，崩山碎石，耶和华却不在风中；风后地震，耶和华却不在其中；地震后有火，耶和华也不在火中；火后有微小的声音。

所罗门祈祷已毕，就有火从天上降下来，烧尽燔祭和别的祭。耶和华的荣光充满了殿；因耶和华的荣光充满了耶和华殿，所以祭司不能进殿。那火降下、耶和华的荣光在殿上的时候，以色列众人看见，就在铺石地俯伏叩拜，称谢耶和华说：“耶和华本为善，他的慈爱永远长存！”

要报应那不认识神和那不听从我主耶稣福音的人。

你们要从我山的谷中逃跑，因为山谷必延到亚萨。你们逃跑，必如犹大王乌西雅年间的人逃避大地震一样。耶和华我的神必降临，有一切圣者同来。

民要攻打民，国要攻打国；多处必有饥荒、地震。

但主的日子要像贼来到一样。那日，天必大有响声废去，有形质的都要被烈火销化，地和其上的物都要烧尽了。

大山因他震动；小山也都消化。大地在他面前突起；世界和住在其间的也都如此。他发忿恨，谁能立得住呢？他发烈怒，谁能当得起呢？他的忿怒如火倾倒；磐石因他崩裂。

那时你们近前来，站在山下；山上有火焰冲天，并有昏黑、密云、幽暗。耶和华从火焰中对你们说话，你们只听见声音，却没有看见形像。

大地啊，你因见主的面，就是雅各神的面，便要震动。

不可用手摸他，必用石头打死，或用箭射透；无论是人是牲畜，都不得活。到角声拖长的时候，他们才可到山根来。’”

你的雷声在旋风中；电光照亮世界；大地战抖震动。

众百姓见雷轰、闪电、角声、山上冒烟，就都发颤，远远地站立，
