And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this[ for] a memorial in a book, and rehearse[ it] in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

耶和华对摩西说：“我要把亚玛力的名号从天下完全抹掉；你要把话写在书上作记念，也要告诉约书亚。”

耶和華對摩西說：「我要將亞瑪力的名號從天下全然塗抹了；你要將這話寫在書上作紀念，又念給約書亞聽。」

耶和華對摩西說：「你要把這事記錄在書上作紀念，又念給約書亞聽：我要把亞瑪力的名字從天下全然塗去。」

耶和華對摩西說：「我要抹去世人對亞瑪力人的記憶。你要把這話記在書卷上作紀念，也要把這話告訴約書亞。」

耶和華對摩西說：“我要把亞瑪力的名號從天下完全抹掉；你要把話寫在書上作記念，也要告訴約書亞。”

永恆主對摩西說：『我要將亞瑪力這名號從天下全塗抹掉：你要將這話寫在卷冊上做備忘錄，又念給約書亞聽。』

耶和華諭摩西曰、我將塗亞瑪力之誌於天下、當筆之於簡、誦之於約書亞耳、

耶和華諭摩西曰、我將滅亞馬力族於天下、當載於簡、口誦之、俾約書亞聽聞。

主諭摩西曰、我必從天下除滅亞瑪力人之名、爾當筆之於書以為誌、口誦使約書亞聞之、

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ This is something to be remembered. So write it on a scroll. Make sure Joshua knows you have done it. I will completely erase the memory of the Amalekites from the earth.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this as a memorial in a book and recite it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

After the victory, the Lord instructed Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a permanent reminder, and read it aloud to Joshua: I will erase the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

The LORD then said to Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a reminder and recite it to Joshua: I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this in a book as a memorial and recite it to Joshua, that I will utterly wipe out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

The Lord then said to Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a reminder and recite it to Joshua: I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven.”

The LORD said to Moses,“ Write this as a memorial in the book, and rehearse it in Joshua’s hearing; for I will surely wipe out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky.”

And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;

And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek[ was] the first of the nations; but his latter end[ shall be] that he perish for ever.

Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.

And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD’S law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.

Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,Who[ is] left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now?[ is it] not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah[ until] thou comest to Shur, that[ is] over against Egypt.And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these[ are] their journeys according to their goings out.

Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

The memory of the just[ is] blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.

And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.

And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.

Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed[ us], so that[ there should be] no remnant nor escaping?

O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;

And they smote the rest of the Amalekites that were escaped, and dwelt there unto this day.

Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!

And he said unto me, Who[ art] thou? And I answered him, I[ am] an Amalekite.He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life[ is] yet whole in me.So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that[ was] upon his head, and the bracelet that[ was] on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that[ were] with him:And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence[ art] thou? And he answered, I[ am] the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD’S anointed?And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near,[ and] fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.And David said unto him, Thy blood[ be] upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD’S anointed.

And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those[ nations were] of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.And David smote the land, and left neither man nor woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember[ that] which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid[ wait] for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee,[ even] all[ that were] feeble behind thee, when thou[ wast] faint and weary; and he feared not God.Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee[ for] an inheritance to possess it,[ that] thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget[ it].
