耶和華導民、無間日夜、晝則導以雲、夜則燭以火、其狀如柱。

俄頃之間、民人死亡、中夜震動、逝世者眾、有能之人、亦被斥逐、此非假手於人也。

至上之耶和華、自天起雷、發其洪聲兮、電閃雹降、炭以之燃兮、電閃如矢、眾敵敗北兮、

主所福、誰能禍之、主所禍、誰能福之、其待人或一國、或匹夫、無二理也。

言念及此、不禁畏懼。全能之上帝、已喪我膽、使我畏葸。

一睹其地、地基震動、一履其山、山岡燄起兮。

上帝之使、昔在以色列營前、今遷於後、雲狀如柱、亦離前而立後。間於二營之中。埃及人觀之如黑雲、以色列族望之如巨光、彼此終夜不相近。

明日掃羅分民為三隊、昧爽馳入敵軍、殺亞捫人、迨及亭午、存者四散、無二人集於一處者。

爾曰、上帝所居、幽深玄遠、豈能鑒觀下土哉。

脫其車輪、使之難行。埃及人曰、耶和華助以色列族而攻我、我其遁。
