他使人安靜，誰能擾亂呢？他掩面，誰能見他呢？無論待一國或一人都是如此－

所以我在他面前驚惶；我思念這事便懼怕他。神使我喪膽；全能者使我驚惶。

他們見了這城就驚奇喪膽，急忙逃跑。

他看地，地便震動；他摸山，山就冒煙。

第二日，掃羅將百姓分為三隊，在晨更的時候入了亞捫人的營，擊殺他們直到太陽近午，剩下的人都逃散，沒有二人同在一處的。

你說：神知道甚麼？他豈能看透幽暗施行審判呢？

又使他們的車輪脫落，難以行走，以致埃及人說：「我們從以色列人面前逃跑吧！因耶和華為他們攻擊我們了。」
