Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided,

以榮耀的膀臂在摩西右邊行動，在百姓面前將水分開，為要建立自己永遠的名，

因你鼻中的氣，水就聚成堆，大水豎立如壘，海的中心深水凝結。

他將海變成乾地，使百姓步行過河；我們在那裏要因他歡喜。

你在我們祖先面前把海分開，使他們走過海中乾地，將追趕他們的人拋在深海，如石頭拋在大水中。

因為耶和華－你們的神在你們前面使約旦河的水乾了，直到你們過來，就如耶和華－你們的神從前在我們前面使紅海乾了，直到我們過來一樣，

使海與深淵的水乾涸，在海的深處開路，使救贖的民走過的，不是你嗎？

他把海分開，使他們過去，又叫水立起如壘。

你曾用能力將海分開，你打破水裏大魚的頭。

稱謝那分裂紅海的，因他的慈愛永遠長存。

滄海看見就奔逃，約旦河也倒流。大山踴躍如公羊，小山跳舞如羔羊。滄海啊，你為何奔逃？約旦哪，你為何倒流？

我是耶和華－你的神，我攪動大海，使海中的波浪澎湃，萬軍之耶和華是我的名。

當抬耶和華全地之主約櫃的祭司，腳掌踏入約旦河水裏的時候，約旦河的水，就是從上往下流的水，必然中斷，豎立成壘。」百姓起行離開帳棚過約旦河的時候，抬約櫃的祭司在百姓的前面。那時正是收割的日子，約旦河的水漲滿兩岸。抬約櫃的人到了約旦河，抬約櫃的祭司腳一入水邊，那從上往下流的水就在很遠的地方，在撒拉但旁邊的亞當城那裏停住，豎立成壘；那往亞拉巴海，就是鹽海下流的水全然中斷。於是，百姓在耶利哥的對面過了河。

你舉手向海伸杖，把水分開。以色列人要下到海中，走在乾地上。

他以能力攪動大海，藉知識打傷拉哈伯。

我們的祖宗在埃及不明白你的奇事，不記念你豐盛的慈愛，反倒在紅海行了悖逆。然而，他因自己的名拯救他們，為要彰顯他的大能。他斥責紅海，海就乾了，帶領他們走過深海，如走曠野。他拯救他們脫離恨他們之人的手，從仇敵手中救贖他們。
