On the seventh day there is to be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God; do not do any work.“ You are to count seven weeks, counting the weeks from the time the sickle is first put to the standing grain.

Look, I have taught you statutes and ordinances as the LORD my God has commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land you are entering to possess.
