No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.

那日，我必把我人民居住的地方歌珊分别出来，使那里没有苍蝇，为要使你知道在全地上只有我是耶和华。

耶和华必把以色列的牲畜和埃及人的牲畜分别出来；所有属于以色列人的，一只也不死去。’”

云柱来到埃及营和以色列营中间；云柱一边是黑暗的，一边却光照着黑夜。这样整夜彼此都不能接近。

锡安哪！起来，发光，因为你的光已经来到，耶和华的荣耀已升起来照耀你。看哪！黑暗遮盖大地，幽暗遮蔽万民；但耶和华要升起来照耀你，他的荣耀要彰显在你身上。万国要在你的光中行走，列王必在你如旭日初升的光辉中行走。

因此主耶和华这样说：“看哪！我的众仆人必有吃的，你们却要饥饿；看哪！我的仆人必有喝的，你们却要口渴；看哪！我的仆人必要欢喜，你们却要蒙羞；看哪！我的仆人必因心里高兴而欢呼，你们却要因心中伤痛而哀叫，因灵里破碎而哀号。

只有在以色列人所在的歌珊地，没有冰雹。

我必领瞎子走陌生的道，带他们走他们不知道的路。我必在他们面前使黑暗变为光明，使弯曲的地方变为平直。这些事我都要作，决不放弃。

那时，你们就要再看出义人与恶人、事奉神的人和不事奉他的人之间有什么分别。”

然而你们是蒙拣选的族类，是君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国民，是属神的子民，为要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

他救我们脱离了黑暗的权势，把我们迁入他爱子的国里。

你们的列祖呼求耶和华，他就以黑暗隔开你们和埃及人，又使海水复流淹没了他们；我在埃及所行的事，你们都亲眼见过；你们在旷野也住了许多日子。
