Then the king’s scribes were summoned on the thirteenth day of the first month, and it was written just as Haman commanded to the king’s satraps, to the governors who were over each province and to the officials of each people, each province according to its script, each people according to its language, being written in the name of King Ahasuerus and sealed with the king’s signet ring.

“ Now then, write this song for yourselves, and teach it to the sons of Israel; put it on their lips, so that this song may be a witness for Me against the sons of Israel.For when I bring them into the land flowing with milk and honey, which I swore to their fathers, and they eat and are satisfied and become prosperous, then they will turn to other gods and serve them, and spurn Me and break My covenant.Then it will come about, when many evils and troubles find them, that this song will testify before them as a witness( for it shall not be forgotten from the mouth of their descendants); for I know their inclination which they are developing today, before I bring them into the land which I swore.”So Moses wrote down this song on the same day, and taught it to the sons of Israel.

Now it happened in the days of Ahasuerus, the Ahasuerus who reigned from India to Cush over 127 provinces,

So the king’s scribes were summoned at that time in the third month( that is, the month Sivan), on the twenty third day; and it was written in accordance with everything that Mordecai commanded the Jews, the satraps, the governors, and the officials of the provinces which extended from India to Cush, 127 provinces, to every province according to its script, and to every people according to their language, as well as to the Jews according to their script and their language.

One generation will praise Your works to another, And will declare Your mighty acts.On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.People will speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness.They will burst forth in speaking of Your abundant goodness, And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.The Lord is gracious and compassionate; Slow to anger and great in mercy.The Lord is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works.All Your works will give thanks to You, Lord, And Your godly ones will bless You.They will speak of the glory of Your kingdom, And talk of Your might,To make known to the sons of mankind Your mighty acts, And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.

Remember His wonderful deeds which He has done, His marvels and the judgments from His mouth,
