因知各人所行之善、無論為奴者、自主者、必循其所行而受報於主、

因为晓得各人所行的善事，不论是为奴的，是自主的，都必按所行的得主的赏赐。

以是知凡行善者、不論是僕非僕、必受報於主、

應知人有善行、主必報之、固無間於奴僕與主人也。

because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.

You know that the Lord will give each person a reward. He will give it to them in keeping with the good they do. It doesn’t matter whether they are a slave or not.

knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free.

Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free.

蓋知由主必得嗣業之賞、因爾所事者、乃主基督也、

若此之人、無希拉、猶太、受割禮、未受割禮、化外、夷狄、為奴、自主之別、惟基督在萬有之上、為萬有之主、○

惡人經營、所得虛幻、播善種者、必獲真實果報、

故勿失爾毅然之心、蓋此有大賞也、

則爾福矣、蓋彼不能報爾、而至義人復活時、爾必得報、○

無分猶太人與希拉人、自主者與為奴者、男與女、蓋爾在基督耶穌、皆一也、

人子將以父之榮、偕諸天使降臨時、必循各人所行而報之、

蓋我眾皆必立於基督臺前、使各人循己身所為、或善或惡而受報、

禍哉惡人、必遭災害、必循其手所作而受報、

當欣喜歡樂、因在天爾之賞大也、蓋先爾諸先知、人亦曾如是窘逐之也、○

如是則爾之施濟隱矣、爾父鑒觀於隱、將顯以報爾、將顯以報爾有原文古抄本作將以報爾下同○

惟爾愛敵而善待之、借與人而不望償、則爾之賞大、且將為至上者之子、蓋彼施仁於負恩與不善者、

彼以為為基督而受之辱、較伊及諸財尤寶、因望賞賚故也、

蓋終有善報、必不失望、

天主必視各人所行而報之、凡恆於行善、求尊榮及無壞者、則報以永生、凡違逆不順真理而行不義者、則報以忿怒、以患難窘苦、加諸作惡之人、先猶太人、次希拉人、以尊榮平康、加諸行善之人、先猶太人、次希拉人、

有人接先知、因其為先知、必得先知之賞、接義人、因其為義人、必得義人之賞、有人第以一杯水、飲此小子之一、因其為門徒、我誠告爾、此人必不失其賞矣、

慎勿於人前施濟、故令人見、若然、則不獲爾天父之賞、
