So then, remember that at one time you were Gentiles in the flesh— called“ the uncircumcised” by those called“ the circumcised,” which is done in the flesh by human hands.At that time you were without the Messiah, excluded from the citizenship of Israel, and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah.For He is our peace, who made both groups one and tore down the dividing wall of hostility. In His flesh,He made of no effect the law consisting of commands and expressed in regulations, so that He might create in Himself one new man from the two, resulting in peace.He did this so that He might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross and put the hostility to death by it.When the Messiah came, He proclaimed the good news of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household,built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.The whole building, being put together by Him, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord.You also are being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.

But as it is written: What eye did not see and ear did not hear, and what never entered the human mind— God prepared this for those who love Him.Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

The shouting grew loud, and some of the scribes of the Pharisees’ party got up and argued vehemently:“ We find nothing evil in this man. What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?”

So that you will not be conceited, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery: A partial hardening has come to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

“ Then I said,‘ Who are You, Lord?’“ And the Lord replied:‘ I am Jesus, the One you are persecuting.But get up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and a witness of what you have seen and of what I will reveal to you.I will rescue you from the people and from the Gentiles. I now send you to themto open their eyes so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that by faith in Me they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified.’“ Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

to reveal His Son in me, so that I could preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone.I did not go up to Jerusalem to those who had become apostles before me; instead I went to Arabia and came back to Damascus.Then after three years I did go up to Jerusalem to get to know Cephas, and I stayed with him 15 days.But I didn’t see any of the other apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.
