For this reason I ask you not to lose heart because of what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.

I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.

So here is what I’m asking you to do. Don’t lose hope because I am suffering for you. It will lead to the time when God will give you his glory.

So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.

So please don’t lose heart because of my trials here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored.

So, then, I ask you not to be discouraged over my afflictions on your behalf, for they are your glory.

Therefore I ask you not to become discouraged about my tribulations in your behalf, since they are your glory.

Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

Wherefore I ask that ye may not faint at my tribulations for you, which are your glory.

So then I ask you not to be discouraged over my afflictions on your behalf, for they are your glory.

Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

Therefore I ask that you may not lose heart at my troubles for you, which are your glory.

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles–

I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that my situation has actually turned out to advance the gospel:The whole imperial guard and everyone else knows that I am in prison for the sake of Christ,and most of the brothers and sisters, having confidence in the Lord because of my imprisonment, now more than ever dare to speak the word fearlessly.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I fill up in my physical body– for the sake of his body, the church– what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ.

But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort that you experience in your patient endurance of the same sufferings that we also suffer.

Even youths get tired and weary; even strong young men clumsily stumble.But those who wait for the LORD’s help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.

“ Listen, Israel! Today you are moving forward to do battle with your enemies. Do not be fainthearted. Do not fear and tremble or be terrified because of them,

We sent Timothy, our brother and fellow worker for God in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen you and encourage you about your faith,so that no one would be shaken by these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we are destined for this.For in fact when we were with you, we were telling you in advance that we would suffer affliction, and so it has happened, as you well know.

On that day they will say to Jerusalem,“ Don’t be afraid, Zion! Your hands must not be paralyzed from panic!

So we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.

They strengthened the souls of the disciples and encouraged them to continue in the faith, saying,“ We must enter the kingdom of God through many persecutions.”

But you, brothers and sisters, do not grow weary in doing what is right.

Think of him who endured such opposition against himself by sinners, so that you may not grow weary in your souls and give up.You have not yet resisted to the point of bloodshed in your struggle against sin.And have you forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons?“ My son, do not scorn the Lord’s discipline or give up when he corrects you.
