He did this when he revealed to us the secret of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ,

他照著自己在基督裡預先安排的美意，使我們知道他旨意的奧祕，

能知道他旨意之奧祕，照他所喜悅的美意、他在基督裏所定的美意、

照著他在基督裡預先定下的美意，讓我們明白了他旨意的奧祕，

示我以厥旨之奧、循其善意、乃於彼中所定、

復示我奧旨、行其所立之善意、

且示我以其旨之奧妙、循其所定之美意、

使吾人得領略其意旨之玄奧。蓋天主夙已從心所欲、

he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ,

he showed us the mystery of his plan. It was in keeping with what he wanted to do. It was what he had planned through Christ.

God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ— which is to fulfill his own good plan.

that is, the mystery that has been kept hidden from ages and generations, but has now been revealed to his saints.God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.We proclaim him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ.

Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that had been kept secret for long ages,but now is disclosed, and through the prophetic scriptures has been made known to all the nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith–to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be glory forever! Amen.

that by revelation the divine secret was made known to me, as I wrote before briefly.When reading this, you will be able to understand my insight into this secret of Christ.Now this secret was not disclosed to people in former generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit,namely, that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.I became a servant of this gospel according to the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by the exercise of his power.To me– less than the least of all the saints– this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christand to enlighten everyone about God’s secret plan– a secret that has been hidden for ages in God who has created all things.

In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according to the one purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will

He is the one who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not based on our works but on his own purpose and grace, granted to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

This was according to the eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,

And we all agree, our religion contains amazing revelation: He was revealed in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him,– since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened– so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

For I did not receive it or learn it from any human source; instead I received it by a revelation of Jesus Christ.

to reveal his Son in me so that I could preach him among the Gentiles, I did not go to ask advice from any human being,

God has revealed these to us by the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.For who among men knows the things of a man except the man’s spirit within him? So too, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God.

When the Gentiles heard this, they began to rejoice and praise the word of the Lord, and all who had been appointed for eternal life believed.

Whose command was ever fulfilled unless the Lord decreed it?Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that everything comes– both calamity and blessing?

He replied,“ You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not.

this man, who was handed over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you executed by nailing him to a cross at the hands of Gentiles.

to do as much as your power and your plan had decided beforehand would happen.

The LORD’s decisions stand forever; his plans abide throughout the ages.

who announces the end from the beginning and reveals beforehand what has not yet occurred, who says,‘ My plan will be realized, I will accomplish what I desire,’who summons an eagle from the east, from a distant land, one who carries out my plan. Yes, I have decreed, yes, I will bring it to pass; I have formulated a plan, yes, I will carry it out.

The LORD who commands armies makes this solemn vow:“ Be sure of this: Just as I have intended, so it will be; just as I have planned, it will happen.I will break Assyria in my land, I will trample them underfoot on my hills. Their yoke will be removed from my people, the burden will be lifted from their shoulders.This is the plan I have devised for the whole earth; my hand is ready to strike all the nations.”Indeed, the LORD who commands armies has a plan, and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it?

But he is unchangeable, and who can change him? Whatever he has desired, he does.For he fulfills his decree against me, and many such things are his plans.

“ Why do you try to refute me? All of you have rebelled against me,” says the LORD.
