God showed. He showed this when he raised Christ from the dead. God seated him at his right hand in his heavenly kingdom.

蓋此神力、天主實已先施於基督之身、起之於死中、升之於諸天、位之於己右、

he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,

that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,

that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.

He exercised this power in Christ by raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavens—

which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,

He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the heavens—

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set[ him] at his own right hand in the heavenly[ places],

This power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms

which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,

Jesus our priest offered one sacrifice for sins for all time. Then he sat down at the right hand of God.

When the Lord Jesus finished speaking to them, he was taken up into heaven. He sat down at the right hand of God.

The Lord says to my lord,“ Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your control.”

The Son is the shining brightness of God’s glory. He is the exact likeness of God’s being. He uses his powerful word to hold all things together. He provided the way for people to be made pure from sin. Then he sat down at the right hand of the King, the Majesty in heaven.

After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed. He said,“ Father, the time has come. Bring glory to your Son. Then your Son will bring glory to you.You gave him authority over all people. He gives eternal life to all those you have given him.And what is eternal life? It is knowing you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.I have brought you glory on earth. I have finished the work you gave me to do.So now, Father, give glory to me in heaven where your throne is. Give me the glory I had with you before the world began.

Then Jesus came to them. He said,“ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

But God raised him from the dead. He set him free from the suffering of death. It wasn’t possible for death to keep its hold on Jesus.David spoke about him. He said,“‘ I know that the Lord is always with me. Because he is at my right hand, I will always be secure.So my heart is glad and joy is on my tongue. My whole body will be full of hope.You will not leave me in the place of the dead. You will not let your holy one rot away.You always show me the path that leads to life. You will fill me with joy when I am with you.’( Psalm 16:8–11)“ Fellow Israelites, you can be sure that King David died. He was buried. His tomb is still here today.But David was a prophet. He knew that God had made a promise to him. God had promised that he would make someone in David’s family line king after him.David saw what was coming. So he spoke about the Messiah rising from the dead. He said that the Messiah would not be left in the place of the dead. His body wouldn’t rot in the ground.God has raised this same Jesus back to life. We are all witnesses of this.Jesus has been given a place of honor at the right hand of God. He has received the Holy Spirit from the Father. This is what God had promised. It is Jesus who has poured out what you now see and hear.David did not go up to heaven. But he said,“‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand.I will put your enemies under your control.” ’( Psalm 110:1)“ So be sure of this, all you people of Israel. You nailed Jesus to the cross. But God has made him both Lord and Messiah.”

He said to them,“ Then why does David call him‘ Lord’? The Holy Spirit spoke through David himself. David said,“‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your control.” ’( Psalm 110:1)So if David calls him‘ Lord,’ how can he be David’s son?”

I and the Father are one.”

So my heart is glad. Joy is on my tongue. My body also will be secure.You will not leave me in the place of the dead. You will not let your faithful one rot away.You always show me the path of life. You will fill me with joy when I am with you. You will make me happy forever at your right hand.

But on the third day God raised him from the dead. God allowed Jesus to be seen.

Our Lord Jesus is the great Shepherd of the sheep. The God who gives peace brought him back from the dead. He did it because of the blood of the eternal covenant. Now may God

You have been raised up with Christ. So think about things that are in heaven. That is where Christ is. He is sitting at God’s right hand.

By being baptized, we have been joined with him in a death like his. So we will certainly also be joined with him in a resurrection like his.We know that what we used to be was nailed to the cross with him. That happened so our bodies that were ruled by sin would lose their power. So we are no longer slaves of sin.That’s because those who have died have been set free from sin.We died with Christ. So we believe that we will also live with him.We know that Christ was raised from the dead and will never die again. Death doesn’t control him anymore.When he died, he died once and for all time. He did this to break the power of sin. Now that he lives, he lives in the power of God.In the same way, consider yourselves to be dead as far as sin is concerned. Now you believe in Christ Jesus. So consider yourselves to be alive as far as God is concerned.

Give praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us a new birth and a living hope. This hope is living because Jesus Christ rose from the dead.

That is why Scripture says,“ When he went up to his place on high, he took many prisoners. He gave gifts to his people.”( Psalm 68:18)What does“ he went up” mean? It can only mean that he also came down to the lower, earthly places.The one who came down is the same one who went up. He went up higher than all the heavens. He did it in order to fill all creation.

Then who can sentence us to death? No one. Christ Jesus is at the right hand of God and is also praying for us. He died. More than that, he was raised to life.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as if I were dead. Then he put his right hand on me and said,“ Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.

Give praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. Those blessings come from the heavenly world. They belong to us because we belong to Christ.

Now Jesus is Prince and Savior. God has proved this by giving Jesus a place of honor with him. He did it to turn Israel away from their sins and forgive them.

So he gave us new life because of what Christ has done. He gave us life even when we were dead in sin. God’s grace has saved you.God raised us up with Christ. He has seated us with him in his heavenly kingdom. That’s because we belong to Christ Jesus.

“ You have said so,” Jesus replied.“ But here is what I say to all of you. From now on, you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One. You will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven.”

But we do see Jesus already given a crown of glory and honor. He was made lower than the angels for a little while. He suffered death. By the grace of God, he tasted death for everyone. That is why he was given his crown.

Then listen to this, you and all the people of Israel! You nailed Jesus Christ of Nazareth to the cross. But God raised him from the dead. It is through Jesus’ name that this man stands healed in front of you.

No one takes it from me. I give it up myself. I have the authority to give it up. And I have the authority to take it back again. I received this command from my Father.”

But he was full of the Holy Spirit. He looked up to heaven and saw God’s glory. He saw Jesus standing at God’s right hand.“ Look!” he said.“ I see heaven open. The Son of Man is standing at God’s right hand.”

Why should any of you think it is impossible for God to raise the dead?

Then I looked and heard the voice of millions and millions of angels. They surrounded the throne. They surrounded the living creatures and the elders.In a loud voice they were saying,“ The Lamb, who was put to death, is worthy! He is worthy to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength! He is worthy to receive honor and glory and praise!”All creatures in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and on the sea were speaking. The whole creation was speaking. I heard all of them say,“ Praise and honor belong to the one who sits on the throne and to the Lamb! Glory and power belong to God for ever and ever!”The four living creatures said,“ Amen.” And the elders fell down and worshiped.

“ I am,” said Jesus.“ And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One. You will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven.”

I want to know Christ better. Yes, I want to know the power that raised him from the dead. I want to join him in his sufferings. I want to become like him by sharing in his death.

By the Holy Spirit, he was appointed to be the mighty Son of God. God did this by raising him from the dead. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.
