以前的事，无人记念；将来的事，后来的人也不追忆。

因为智慧人和愚昧人一样，没有人永远记念他们，在未来的日子里，都会被人遗忘。可叹智慧人跟愚昧人一样，终必死亡。

愿这些罪常在耶和华面前，好使他们的名号从地上被除掉。

亚伯拉罕虽然不认识我们，以色列也不承认我们，但你是我们的父。耶和华啊！你是我们的父，从亘古以来，你的名字就是“我们的救赎主”。

按着定命，人人都要死一次，死后还有审判。

往服丧之家，比往宴乐之家还好，因为死是人人的结局，活人要把这事放在心上。

我知道你必使我归回死地，归到那为众生所定的阴宅。

看我的，他的眼再也看不到我，你的眼要看我，我已经不在了。云彩怎样消散逝去，照样，人下阴间也不再上来。他不再回自己的家，故乡再也不认识他。
