凡生於世者、名已先定、皆知是人耳、或作世人如何早已命定不能與力大於己者爭、

Whatever exists has already been named, and what humanity is has been known; no one can contend with someone who is stronger.

God has already planned what now exists. He has already decided what a human being is. No one can argue with someone who is stronger.

Whatever has come to be has already been named, and it is known what man is, and that he is not able to dispute with one stronger than he.

Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there’s no use arguing with God about your destiny.

“强辩的岂可与全能者争论？与神辩驳的可以回答吧！”

现今的事以前就有了，将来的事也早已有了，并且神使已过的事重新再来。

人若想要与他争辩，千次中也不能回答一次。他心里有智慧，且大有能力。谁向神刚硬而得平安呢？

“人为妇人所生，日子短少，多有患难。他出来如花，凋谢而去；他飞逝如影，不能存留。这样的人你岂会睁眼看他，又叫我来，在你那里受审吗？谁能使洁净出于污秽呢？谁也不能！

我曾说：“你们是诸神，都是至高者的儿子。然而，你们要死去，与世人一样，要仆倒，像任何一位王子一般。”

世人行动实系幻影，他们忙乱，真是枉然，积蓄财宝，不知将来有谁收取。

又对亚当说：“你既听从你妻子的话，吃了那树上所出的，就是我吩咐你不可吃的，土地必因你的缘故受诅咒；你必终生劳苦才能从土地得吃的。土地必给你长出荆棘和蒺藜来；你也要吃田间的五谷菜蔬。你必汗流满面才有食物可吃，直到你归了土地，因为你是从土地而出的。你本是尘土，仍要归回尘土。”

这样，你会对我说：“那么，他为什么还指责人呢？有谁能抗拒他的旨意呢？”你这个人哪，你是谁，竟敢向神顶嘴呢？受造之物岂会对造他的说：“你为什么把我造成这样呢？”

你为何与他争论：‘他任何事都不向人解答’？

看哪，就像狮子从约旦河边的丛林上来，攻击坚固的居所，我要在转眼之间使以东人逃跑，离开这地。我拣选谁，就派谁治理这地。谁能像我呢？谁能召我出庭呢？有哪一个牧人能在我面前站得住呢？

至于世人，他的年日如草一样。他兴旺如野地的花，

已有的事，后必再有；已行的事，后必再行。日光之下并无新事。有一件事人指着说：“看，这是新的！”它在我们以前的世代早已有了。已过的事，无人记念；将来的事，后来的人也不记念。

耶和华神呼唤那人，对他说：“你在哪里？”
