但那尚未出生，就是未曾见过日光之下所发生之恶事的，比这两种人更幸福。

并且我以为那未曾生的，就是未见过日光之下恶事的，比这两等人更强。

但那尚未出生，就是未曾见过日光之下所发生之恶事的，比这两种人更幸福。

不过，比以上两种人更幸运的是那从未出生的人，他们从未见过日光之下各样的恶行。

那还没生下来的，就是还没看过日光之下所行的恶事的，比这两种人更有福。

但那还没有出生的人，比这两者更好，因他没有见过在日光之下所行的恶事。

並且我以為那未曾生的，就是未見過日光之下惡事的，比這兩等人更強。

但那尚未出生，就是未曾見過日光之下所發生之惡事的，比這兩種人更幸福。

我並且以為、那未曾生的、就是那未曾經驗過日光之下所發生的壞事的、比這兩種人還好。

但那還沒有出生的人，比這兩者更好，因他沒有見過在日光之下所行的惡事。

且以未生之人、未睹日下所作之惡者、較斯二者為尤愈也、○

又思未生於斯世者、未見斯人之穢行、較生而復死者、尤為幸甚。

較此二者、未生於世、未見日下所作之惡事者更為幸、○

But better than both is the one who has never been born, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun.

But someone who hasn’t been born yet is better off than the dead or the living. That’s because that person hasn’t seen the evil things that are done on earth.

But better than both is he who has not yet been and has not seen the evil deeds that are done under the sun.

But most fortunate of all are those who are not yet born. For they have not seen all the evil that is done under the sun.

But better than either of them is the one who has not yet existed, who has not seen the evil activity that is done under the sun.

But better off than both of them is the one who has never existed, who has never seen the evil activity that is done under the sun.

Yet, better than both is he who has never existed, Who has not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

yea, better than them both did I esteem him that hath not yet been, who hath not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

But better than either of them is the one who has not yet existed, who has not seen the evil activity that is done under the sun.

Yea, better[ is he] than both they, which hath not yet been, who hath not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

But better than both is the one who has not been born and has not seen the evil things that are done on earth.

Yes, better than them both is him who has not yet been, who has not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

因为日子将到，人要说：‘不生育的、未曾怀孕的，和未曾哺乳孩子的有福了！’

人若生一百个儿子，活许多岁数；他即使寿命很长，心里却不因福乐而满足，又不得埋葬；我说，那流掉的胎比他倒好。因为这胎虚虚而来，暗暗而去，名字被黑暗遮蔽，而且没有见过天日，什么都不知道，这胎比那人倒享安息。

在那些日子，怀孕的和奶孩子的就苦了。

因它没有把怀我胎的门关闭，也没有从我的眼中隐藏患难。“我为何不出母胎而死？为何不出母腹就气绝呢？为何有膝盖接收我？为何有奶哺养我呢？不然，我现在已躺卧安睡，而且，早已长眠安息；与那些为自己重建荒凉之处，地上的君王和谋士在一起；或与把银子装满房屋，拥有金子的王子在一起；我为何不像流产的胎儿被埋藏，如同未见光的婴孩？

他们寻见坟墓，就欢喜快乐，极其高兴。

“你为何使我出母胎呢？甚愿我当时气绝，没有眼睛看见我。这样，就如从未有过我，我一出母胎就被送入坟墓。

我见日光之下所发生的一切事，看哪，全是虚空，全是捕风。

我说：“但愿我有翅膀像鸽子，我就飞去，得享安息。看哪，我要远走高飞，宿在旷野。（细拉）我要速速逃到避难之所，脱离狂风暴雨。”主啊，求你吞灭他们，变乱他们的言语！因为我在城中见了凶暴争吵的事。他们昼夜在城墙上绕行，城内也有罪孽和奸恶。邪恶在其中，欺压和诡诈不离街市。

惟愿在旷野有旅客的客栈，我好离开我的百姓而去；因他们全都行奸淫，是行诡诈的一党。他们弯起舌头像弓，为要说谎话；他们在国中增长势力，不是为诚信。他们恶上加恶，并不认识我。这是耶和华说的。

于是我恨恶生命，因为在日光之下所发生的事我都以为烦恼，全是虚空，全是捕风。

因他没有在我未出胎就把我杀了，以致我母亲成为我的坟墓，她却一直怀着胎。我为何出胎见劳碌愁苦，在羞愧中度尽我的年日呢？
