上帝賜人、勤勞而得之、式飲式食、安享其成。

第人能食飲、能享勞碌所得者、亦為天主所賜、

That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil— this is the gift of God.

Each of them should eat and drink. People should be satisfied with all their hard work. That is God’s gift to them.

also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil— this is God’s gift to man.

And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.

It is also the gift of God whenever anyone eats, drinks, and enjoys all his efforts.

難道一個人有吃有喝，且在勞碌中享福，不是福氣嗎？我看這也是出於上帝的手。

你只管歡歡喜喜吃你的飯，心中快樂喝你的酒，因為上帝已經悅納你的作為。

你要吃勞碌得來的；你要享福，凡事順利。

他們建造房屋，居住其中，栽葡萄園，吃園中的果子；並非造了給別人居住，也非栽種給別人享用；因為我百姓的日子必長久如樹木，我的選民必享受親手勞碌得來的。他們必不徒然勞碌，所生產的，也不遭災害，因為他們和他們的子孫都是蒙耶和華賜福的後裔。

看哪，我所見為善為美的，就是人在上帝賜他一生的日子吃喝，享受日光之下勞碌得來的好處，因為這是他應得的報償。而且，一個人蒙上帝賞賜財富與資產，又使他能享用，能獲取自己當有的報償，在他的勞碌中喜樂，這是上帝的賞賜。他不多思念自己一生的日子，因為上帝使他的心充滿喜樂。

就是人蒙上帝賜他財富、資產和尊榮，以致他心裏所願的一樣都不缺，只是上帝使他不能享用，反被外人享用。這是虛空，也是禍患。

因為你富裕的時候，不以歡喜快樂的心事奉耶和華－你的上帝，所以你必在飢餓、乾渴、赤身、缺乏中事奉仇敵，那是耶和華派來攻擊你的。他必把鐵軛加在你的頸項上，直到把你除滅。

你聘了妻子，別人必與她同寢；你建了房屋，卻不得住在其內；你栽植了葡萄園，卻不得享用所結的果子。你的牛在你眼前宰了，你吃不到牠的肉；你的驢在你眼前被人搶奪，卻討不回來；你的羊被敵人拿走，無人幫助你。

每當以色列人撒種之後，米甸、亞瑪力和東邊的人都上來攻打他們，對着他們安營，毀壞那地的農作物，直到迦薩，沒有給以色列留下食物，牛、羊、驢也沒有留下。因為那些人帶着他們的牲畜和帳棚上來，像蝗蟲那樣多；人和駱駝無數，都進入境內，毀壞全地。以色列因米甸的緣故極其窮乏，以色列人就呼求耶和華。
