原來神把智慧、知識和喜樂賜給他所喜悅的人；至於罪人，神加給他們擔子，讓他們去收取、積聚，好給神所喜悅的人。這也是虛空，也是捕風！

神喜悦谁，就给谁智慧、知识，和喜乐；惟有罪人，神使他劳苦，叫他将所收聚的、所堆积的归给神所喜悦的人。这也是虚空，也是捕风。

彼所悅者、錫以智慧、知識歡樂、惟以憂勞加於罪人、使其所收所積、歸於上帝所悅者、斯亦虛空、乃為捕風、

上帝所悅者、賜以智慧歡樂、若惡人則勞苦之、以其所積貨財、賜於善良、凡百之事、無非捕風捉影、以此益見矣。

天主所悅者、賜以智慧、知識、歡樂、獲罪於天主者、天主則畀以收斂積蓄之任、終歸於天主所悅者用、此亦屬於虛、亦如捕風、

To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness to the person who pleases him. But to a sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth. Then the sinner must hand it over to the one who pleases God. That doesn’t have any meaning either. It’s like chasing the wind.

For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. This, too, is meaningless— like chasing the wind.

For to the person who is pleasing in his sight, he gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and accumulating in order to give to the one who is pleasing in God’s sight. This too is futile and a pursuit of the wind.

For to a person who is good in His sight, He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, while to the sinner He has given the task of gathering and collecting so that he may give to one who is good in God’s sight. This too is futility and striving after wind.

好人使子子孫孫得繼業；罪人的財富，卻為義人留存。

直到如今，你們沒有奉我的名求過什麼。你們祈求吧！就會得到，好使你們的喜樂得以滿足。

你們要告訴義人，他們會一切平順，因為他們必吃自己行為所結的果實。惡人卻有禍了，他們必遭災難，因為他們手所做的必回報到自己身上。

用高息厚利使自己財物增多的，是為恩待貧弱者的人積蓄。

那找到智慧、獲得聰慧的人，是蒙福的！因為智慧的盈利好過銀子，她的收成勝過金子；她比紅寶石更寶貴，你喜悅的一切都無法與她相比；她的右手有長壽，左手有財富和尊榮；她的道路是恩慈的道路，她的路徑全是平安；對於持守她的，她就是生命樹；持定她的人被稱為有福。

但本於神，你們卻是在基督耶穌裡的。基督耶穌為我們成了從神而來的智慧、公義、聖潔和救贖，為要像經上所記的：「誇耀的當在主裡誇耀。」

他們兩個人在神面前都是義人，遵行主的一切誡命和公義規定，無可指責。

耶和華對挪亞說：「你和你的全家都要進入方舟，因為在這世代中，我看到唯有你在我面前是義人。

你們要讓基督的話語豐豐富富地住在你們裡面，要用一切的智慧彼此教導、勸誡，懷著感恩的心，以詩篇、聖詩、屬靈的詩歌來歌頌神。你們無論做什麼，或在言語上或在行為上，都要奉主耶穌的名，藉著他感謝父神。

為此，我們自從聽到這事的那一天起，就不斷地為你們禱告和祈求：願你們藉著一切屬靈的智慧和悟性，能被神旨意的真正知識所充滿；好讓你們行事為人配得上主，凡事蒙他喜悅，在一切美善的工作中結出果子，在神的真正知識上不斷長進。願你們按照他榮耀的權能，藉著一切能力得以剛強，好讓你們凡事忍耐寬容，懷著喜樂的心感謝父——他使你們能夠分享聖徒們在光明中的繼業；

因為神的國不在於吃喝，而在於聖靈裡的公義、和睦、喜樂。要知道，如此服事基督的人，是蒙神喜悅的，也是受人讚許的。

然而，聖靈的果子是：愛心、喜樂、和平、忍耐、仁慈、良善、忠信、溫柔、自制。這樣的事，沒有律法反對。

至於從上面來的智慧，首先是純潔的，然後是和平的、謙和的、溫順的，滿有憐憫和美好的果子的，是不偏私、不虛假的；

我見過在日光之下所做的一切事，看哪，全是虛空，全是捕風！
