人最好是吃喝，在自己的劳碌中自得其乐；我看这也是出于神的手。

若言人既勞碌、莫若以食以飲、安享其樂、我又見其權在乎天主、

A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God,

我认为既善又美的，就是人在神所赐给他一生有限的年日中吃喝，享受他在日光之下劳碌所得的一切，因为这是他的分。蒙神赐予财富与资产的人，神都使他能够享用，并取自己的分，在劳碌中自得其乐，这是神的恩赐。

你只管快快乐乐地去吃你的饭，怀着高兴的心去喝你的酒，因为神已经悦纳了你所作的。你当经常穿着白色的衣袍，头上也不要缺少膏油。在你一生虚空的年日中，就是神在日光之下赐你虚空的年日中，你要和你所爱的妻子享受人生，因为那是你一生在日光之下从劳碌中所得的分。

你只要在耶和华你的神面前，和在耶和华你的神选择的地方吃，你和你的儿女、仆婢，以及在你城里的利未人，都可以吃；你也要因你手所作的一切事在耶和华你的神面前欢乐。

我在以弗所和野兽搏斗，如果照着人的意思来看，那对我有什么益处呢？如果死人不会复活，“我们就吃吃喝喝吧，因为我们明天就要死了。”

然后，我要对我的灵魂说：灵魂啊，你拥有许多好东西，足够多年享用，只管安安逸逸地吃喝快乐吧！’神却对他说：‘无知的人哪，今天晚上，你的灵魂必被取去，你所预备的要归给谁呢？’

你们和你们的儿女、仆婢，以及住在你们城里的利未人，都要在耶和华你们的神面前欢乐，因为利未人在你们中间无分无业。

然而却未尝不为自己留下明证，就如常常行善事，从天上降下雨来，常常赏赐丰年，使你们吃喝充足，满心欢乐。”

蒙神赐予财富、资产和荣誉的人，心里所愿的，都一无所缺，可是神使他无力享用，反而有外人来享用。这是虚空，也是祸患。

年轻人哪！你在幼年时要快乐，在壮年的日子，要使你的心欢畅；顺着你心所愿的，眼所见的去行。不过，你要知道，为了这一切事，神必审问你。所以你当除掉心中的烦恼，除去肉体的疾苦，因为无论是幼年或是壮年，都是虚空的。

万军之耶和华说：“你们若不听从，若不放在心上，不把荣耀归给我的名，我就使咒诅临到你们中间，我要咒诅你们应得的福分，并且已经咒诅了，因为你们没有把这命令放在心上。

尼希米又对他们说：“你们应当去吃肥美的肉，喝甘甜的酒，把部分饮食分给没有能力预备的人，因为今天是我们的主的圣日；你们不要忧愁，因为靠耶和华而得的喜乐是你们的力量。”
