惟當自慎、謹守乃心、免忘爾目所見、畢生不去於懷、以之示爾子孫、昔爾在何烈、立於爾上帝耶和華前時、耶和華諭我曰、當集斯民、我使之聽我言、俾其在世、一生學寅畏我、而教子女、

穢言勿出口、惟於人之所需、以善言建之、致恩及聽者、

我不隱於其子孫、必以耶和華之聲譽、能力奇行、宣於後世兮、彼定律於雅各、立法於以色列、命我列祖示於子孫兮、俾後生子孫知之、亦傳諸其裔兮、

異日爾子若問爾曰、此何意也、則告之曰、耶和華以其手力、導我出埃及、脫於奴隸之室、法老頑梗、不釋我往、耶和華將埃及之首生者、或人或畜、盡皆誅戮、故我以首生之牡畜祭之、其初胎之男子、則贖之焉、

善人由內蘊之善而發其善、惡人由內蘊之惡而發其惡、蓋充諸心者、即宣諸口也、○

中心尊主基督為聖、素備應對、以答凡詰爾衷所望之故者、惟宜溫柔敬懼耳、

義者之脣、以育眾庶、愚者乏識、陷於死亡、

在列王前、言爾法度、不至蒙羞兮、

智者之口、播揚知識、愚者之心、出發不義、

言惟溫和、如調以鹽、則知所以應對人矣、○
