Before him there was no king like him who turned to the LORD with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength according to all the law of Moses, and no one like him arose after him.

And to love him with all your heart, with all your understanding, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself, is far more important than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

On that day you will know that I am in my Father, you are in me, and I am in you.The one who has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father. I also will love him and will reveal myself to him.”

For the love of Christ compels us, since we have reached this conclusion, that one died for all, and therefore all died.And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised.

The one who loves a father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; the one who loves a son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
