The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.

Humility, the fear of the LORD, results in wealth, honor, and life.

But you who have remained faithful to the LORD your God are all alive today.

Tell the righteous that it will go well for them, for they will eat the fruit of their labor.

If you are righteous, what do you give him, or what does he receive from your hand?Your wickedness affects a person like yourself, and your righteousness, a son of man.

If you are wise, you are wise for your own benefit; if you mock, you alone will bear the consequences.”

“ And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you except to fear the LORD your God by walking in all his ways, to love him, and to worship the LORD your God with all your heart and all your soul?Keep the LORD’s commands and statutes I am giving you today, for your own good.
