毋跪拜、毋崇事、蓋我耶和華爾之天主、乃忌邪之天主、或作不容人崇奉別神惡我者、我必討其罪、以及子孫、至三四代、

You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

Do not bow down to them or worship them. I am the Lord your God. I want you to worship only me. I cause the sins of the parents to affect their children. I will cause the sins of those who hate me to affect even their grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected— even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me.

Do not bow in worship to them, and do not serve them, because I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ iniquity on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me,

You shall not worship them nor serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, inflicting the punishment of the fathers on the children, even on the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I, Jehovah, thy God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me;

Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God[ am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth[ generation] of them that hate me,

You must not worship or serve them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God. I punish the sons, grandsons, and great-grandsons for the sin of the fathers who reject me,

You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them; for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me;

“不可为自己雕刻偶像，也不可做什么形像，仿佛上天、下地和地底下水中的百物。不可跪拜那些像，也不可事奉它们，因为我耶和华—你的神是忌邪的神。恨我的，我必惩罚他们的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代；爱我，守我诫命的，我必向他们施慈爱，直到千代。

为千代的人存留慈爱，赦免罪孽、过犯和罪恶，万不以有罪的为无罪，必惩罚人的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代。”

我向耶和华—我的神祈祷、认罪，说：“主啊，你是大而可畏的神，向爱主、守主诫命的人守约施慈爱。我们犯罪作恶，行恶叛逆，偏离你的诫命典章，没有听从你仆人众先知奉你的名向我们君王、官长、祖先和这地所有百姓所说的话。主啊，你是公义的，但我们犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民，并你所赶到各国的以色列众人，不论远近，因为背叛了你，脸上蒙羞，正如今日一样。耶和华啊，我们和我们的君王、官长、祖先因得罪了你，脸上就都蒙羞。主—我们的神是怜悯饶恕人的，我们却违背了他，

不可敬拜别神，因为耶和华是忌邪的神，他的名是忌邪者。

‘耶和华不轻易发怒，且有丰盛的慈爱。他赦免罪孽和过犯，万不以有罪的为无罪，必惩罚人的罪，从父到子，直到三、四代。’

你施慈爱给千万人，又将祖先的罪孽报应在他后世子孙身上。至大全能的神啊，万军之耶和华是你的名，

就福音来说，他们为你们的缘故是仇敌；就拣选来说，他们因列祖的缘故是蒙爱的。因为神的恩赐和选召是不会撤回的。

如此，地上所有义人流的血都归到你们身上，从义人亚伯的血起，直到你们在圣所和祭坛中间所杀的巴拉加的儿子撒迦利亚的血为止。我实在告诉你们，这一切的罪都要归到这世代了。”
