( I was standing between the LORD and you at that time to reveal to you the message of the LORD, because you were afraid of the fire and would not go up the mountain.) He said:

( I stood between Yahweh and you at that time, to show you Yahweh’s word; for you were afraid because of the fire, and didn’t go up onto the mountain) saying,

然則律何為耶、乃為罪而設、待受許之裔至、又由天使於中保之手而訂、

三日黎明、雷電交作、密雲蔽山、角鳴甚厲、營中之民、罔不戰慄、

民見雷轟、電閃、角鳴、烟騰於山、則戰懼、遙立、謂摩西曰、汝與我言、我必聽從、上帝勿與我言、恐我死亡、摩西曰、勿懼、上帝臨格以試爾、俾爾敬畏、免干厥罪、民仍遙立、摩西進於上帝所居晦冥之處、○

夫爾非至可捫火炎之山、及幽冥、昏暗、暴風、號角之音、宣言之聲、聞者求勿復與言、蓋眾不克當所命云、傍山者雖獸必石擊之、且所見者可畏之甚、致摩西云、我悚懼戰慄、爾所至者乃錫安山維生上帝邑、在天之耶路撒冷天軍萬數、諸長子會咸集、即名錄於天者、暨鞫眾之上帝、並義人得完全之靈、且有新約中保耶穌、與所灑之血、此血所言、較亞伯為尤善、

惟摩西可近耶和華、其餘不可、民亦勿與俱來、摩西以耶和華之言與律、往告於民、民同聲對曰、耶和華所言、我悉遵行、

蓋基督非人手造之聖所、似真聖所之形狀者、乃入於天、今於上帝前為我儕而顯焉、

其君王必屬己族、其牧伯亦出其中、我必使之就而近我、夫有勇以近我者、誰耶、耶和華言之矣、

爾其近前、聽我上帝耶和華所言、我上帝耶和華所諭爾者、以告於我、我必聽從遵行、○

彼又示我、見大祭司約書亞立於耶和華使者前、撒但立於其右為之敵、耶和華謂撒但曰、撒但歟、耶和華斥責爾、簡耶路撒冷之耶和華斥責爾、此非拔於火中之燼乎、約書亞衣不潔之服、立於使者前、使者謂立於其前者曰、去其不潔之服、復謂約書亞曰、我去爾之罪愆、衣爾以美服、我曰、當以潔冠加於其首、遂以潔冠冠之、以衣衣之、耶和華之使者立於側、

是以上帝有言、必翦滅之、惟所選之摩西、當其衝、立其前、挽回其怒、免行翦滅兮、

二人往所多瑪、亞伯拉罕尚立於耶和華前、

乃立於生者死者間、焚香為民贖罪、疫癘始弭、
