行為純全、按照耶和華的律法而行的人是蒙福的！謹守耶和華的法度、全心尋求他的人是蒙福的！他們不做不義的事，只走在他的道路上。你用你的訓誡吩咐了我們，為要我們竭力遵守。但願我的道路被你堅立，好使我遵守你的律例。

我們做為神的同工，也懇求你們：不可白受神的恩典。

你們如果遵行我所吩咐的事，你們就是我的朋友了。

那些持守公正、時時行公義的人，是蒙福的！

耶穌說：「那聽了神的話語又遵守的人，才真是蒙福的！」

因此我們是基督的特使，就像神藉著我們在勸告人——我們代替基督請求說：「與神和好吧！」

「凡是洗淨自己袍子，好使自己有權利到生命樹那裡，並且得以從城門進到城內的人——他們是蒙福的！

但是詳細察看那使人得自由的完美律法，並且繼續持守的人，因他不是健忘的聽者，而是行為的實行者，這個人就將要在他所行的事上蒙祝福。

你們要告訴義人，他們會一切平順，因為他們必吃自己行為所結的果實。

而且你的僕人也藉著它們受警戒，遵守它們就有豐盛的賞賜。

路得的婆婆娜娥米對路得說：「我的女兒啊，難道我不應該為你找一個安身之處，讓你幸福嗎？

你們要當心，不要拒絕向你們說話的那一位。要知道，那些拒絕了在地上警告他們的，尚且無法逃脫懲罰，更何況我們背棄從天上警告我們的那一位呢！
