For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.

他就向耶和華禱告，說：「耶和華啊，這不就是我仍在本國的時候所說的嗎？我知道你是有恩惠，有憐憫的神，不輕易發怒，有豐盛的慈愛，並且會改變心意，不降那災難。我就是因為這樣，才急速逃往他施去的呀！

你們當剛強壯膽，不要害怕，也不要畏懼他們，因為耶和華－你的神必與你同去；他必不撇下你，也不丟棄你。」

我要為他們的緣故記念我與他們祖先的約；我在列國眼前曾把他們的祖先從埃及地領出來，為要作他們的神。我是耶和華。」

耶和華有恩惠，有公義，我們的神有憐憫。

然而因你豐富的憐憫，你不全然滅絕他們，也不丟棄他們，因為你是有恩惠、有憐憫的神。

你們若轉向耶和華，你們的弟兄和兒女必在擄掠他們的人面前蒙憐憫，得以歸回這地，因為耶和華－你們的神有恩惠，有憐憫。你們若轉向他，他必不會轉臉不顧你們。」

他向百姓施行救贖，頒佈他的約，直到永遠；他的名聖而可畏。

求你為你名的緣故，不厭惡，不輕視你榮耀的寶座。求你記念，不要違背你與我們所立的約。

耶和華有恩惠，有憐憫，不輕易發怒，大有慈愛。耶和華善待萬有，他的憐憫覆庇他一切所造的。

他向我們列祖施憐憫，記得他的聖約，

他賜糧食給敬畏他的人，他必永遠記念他的約。

耶和華在他面前經過，宣告：「耶和華，耶和華，有憐憫，有恩惠的神，不輕易發怒，且有豐盛的慈愛和信實，為千代的人存留慈愛，赦免罪孽、過犯和罪惡，萬不以有罪的為無罪，必懲罰人的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代。」

你一生的日子，必無人能在你面前站立得住。我怎樣與摩西同在，也必照樣與你同在；我必不撇下你，也不丟棄你。

說：「唉，耶和華－天上大而可畏的神，向愛你、守你誡命的人守約施慈愛的神啊，

大衛又對他兒子所羅門說：「你當剛強壯膽去做！不要懼怕，也不要驚惶，因為耶和華神，我的神與你同在。他必不撇下你，也不丟棄你，直到耶和華殿的工作都完畢。

主啊，你本為良善，樂於饒恕人，以豐盛的慈愛對待凡求告你的人。

主啊，你是有憐憫，有恩惠的神，不輕易發怒，並有豐盛的慈愛和信實。

『耶和華不輕易發怒，且有豐盛的慈愛。他赦免罪孽和過犯，萬不以有罪的為無罪，必懲罰人的罪，從父到子，直到三、四代。』

他記念他的約，直到永遠；記念他吩咐的話，直到千代，

有哪一個神明像你，赦免罪孽，饒恕他產業中餘民的罪過？他不永遠懷怒，喜愛施恩。
