「你們在那地住久了，生子生孫，若行為敗壞，為自己雕刻任何形狀的偶像，行耶和華－你神眼中看為惡的事，惹他發怒，

“你们在那地住久了，生子生孙，就雕刻偶像，仿佛什么形像，败坏自己，行耶和华你神眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒。

“你们在那地住久了，生子生孙，若行为败坏，为自己雕刻任何形状的偶像，行耶和华—你上帝眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒，

“你们在那地住久了，生子生孙，若行为败坏，为自己雕刻任何形状的偶像，行耶和华—你神眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒，

“将来，即使你们在那里安顿已久、子孙满堂，也不可堕落、制造任何形状的神像，不可做你们的上帝耶和华视为邪恶的事，惹祂发怒。

“你们生子生孙，在那地住久了的时候，如果你们败坏自己，制造偶像，制造任何神像的形象，行耶和华你的神看为恶的事，惹他发怒，

「你們在那地住久了，生子生孫，就雕刻偶像，彷彿甚麼形像，敗壞自己，行耶和華－你神眼中看為惡的事，惹他發怒。

「你們在那地住久了，生子生孫，若行為敗壞，為自己雕刻任何形狀的偶像，行耶和華－你上帝眼中看為惡的事，惹他發怒，

「將來，即使你們在那裡安頓已久、子孫滿堂，也不可墮落、製造任何形狀的神像，不可做你們的上帝耶和華視為邪惡的事，惹祂發怒。

“你們生子生孫，在那地住久了的時候，如果你們敗壞自己，製造偶像，製造任何神像的形象，行耶和華你的神看為惡的事，惹他發怒，

『你們在那地住久了，生子養孫，若敗壞了自己、去造雕像，造任何東西的形像，行永恆主你的上帝所看為壞的事、去惹他發怒，

厥後、爾久居斯土、生子生孫、如其自敗、依像雕偶、作惡於爾上帝耶和華前、以激其怒、

厥後爾久居斯土生子傳孫、自壞心術、雕刻偶像、作惡於汝上帝耶和華前、以干厥怒。

爾將渡約但得地為業、爾久居斯地、生子生孫、若自敗自壞、製造偶像、百物之形像、作惡於主爾天主前、干犯其怒、我今日呼天地為證、爾必於斯地殞亡甚速、不能延長在彼、必致殲滅、

After you have had children and grandchildren and have lived in the land a long time— if you then become corrupt and make any kind of idol, doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God and arousing his anger,

So don’t make a statue of a god. Don’t commit that horrible sin. Don’t do it even after you have had children and grandchildren. Don’t do it even after you have lived in the land a long time. If you do, that will be an evil thing in the sight of the Lord your God. You will make him angry.

“ When you father children and children’s children, and have grown old in the land, if you act corruptly by making a carved image in the form of anything, and by doing what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, so as to provoke him to anger,

“ In the future, when you have children and grandchildren and have lived in the land a long time, do not corrupt yourselves by making idols of any kind. This is evil in the sight of the Lord your God and will arouse his anger.

“ When you have children and grandchildren and have been in the land a long time, and if you act corruptly, make an idol in the form of anything, and do what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God, angering him,

“ When you father children and have grandchildren, and you grow old in the land, and you act corruptly, and make an idol in the form of anything, and do what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God to provoke Him to anger,

“ When you beget children and grandchildren and have grown old in the land, and act corruptly and make a carved image in the form of anything, and do evil in the sight of the Lord your God to provoke Him to anger,

When thou shalt beget children, and children’s children, and ye shall have been long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image in the form of anything, and shall do that which is evil in the sight of Jehovah thy God, to provoke him to anger;

“ When you have children and grandchildren and have been in the land a long time, and if you act corruptly, make an idol in the form of anything, and do what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, provoking Him to anger,

When thou shalt beget children, and children’s children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt[ yourselves], and make a graven image,[ or] the likeness of any[ thing], and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:

After you have produced children and grandchildren and have been in the land a long time, if you become corrupt and make an image of any kind and do other evil things before the LORD your God that enrage him,

When you shall father children and children’s children, and you shall have been long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a carved image in the form of anything, and shall do that which is evil in Yahweh your God’s sight to provoke him to anger,

惟恐你們的行為敗壞，為自己雕刻任何形狀的偶像，無論是男像或女像，

使他們的兒女經火，占卜，行法術，出賣自己，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹他發怒。所以耶和華向以色列大大發怒，從自己面前趕出他們，只剩下猶大一個支派。但是，猶大也不遵守耶和華－他們神的誡命，效法以色列所立的規條。

我必撇棄我產業中的餘民，把他們交在仇敵手中，使他們成為所有仇敵的擄物和掠物，因為自從他們的祖先出埃及的那日直到今日，他們常行我眼中看為惡的事，惹我發怒。」瑪拿西行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，使猶大陷入罪裏，又流許多無辜人的血，直到這血充滿了耶路撒冷，從這邊到那邊。

耶和華對摩西說：「看哪，你必和你的祖先同睡。這百姓要起來，在他們所要去的地上，在那地的人中，隨從外邦的神明行淫，離棄我，違背我與他們所立的約。那時，我的怒氣必向他們發作，我必離棄他們，轉臉不顧他們，以致他們被吞滅，並有許多的禍患災難臨到他們。在那日，人必說：『這些禍患臨到我，豈不是因為我的神不在我中間嗎？』在那日，因人偏向別神所行的一切惡事，我必定轉臉不顧。

瑪拿西行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，效法耶和華在以色列人面前趕出的列國那些可憎的事。

他們深深敗壞，如在基比亞的日子一樣。耶和華必記起他們的罪孽，懲罰他們的罪惡。

我們要惹主的嫉恨嗎？我們比他更強嗎？

耶和華吩咐摩西：「下去吧，因為你從埃及領上來的百姓已經敗壞了。

我知道我死後你們必全然敗壞，偏離我所吩咐你們的道。日後必有禍患臨到你們，因為你們做了耶和華眼中看為惡的事，以你們手中所做的惹他發怒。」

耶和華的僕人，嫩的兒子約書亞死了，那時他一百一十歲。以色列人把他葬在他自己地業的境內，以法蓮山區的亭拿‧希烈，在迦實山的北邊。那世代的人也都歸到自己的列祖。後來興起的另一世代不認識耶和華，也不知道他為以色列所做的事。以色列人行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，去事奉諸巴力。他們離棄領他們出埃及地的耶和華－他們列祖的神，去隨從別神，就是四圍列國的神明，向它們叩拜，惹耶和華發怒。他們離棄了耶和華，去事奉巴力和亞斯她錄。耶和華的怒氣向以色列發作，把他們交在搶奪他們的人手中，又把他們交給四圍仇敵的手中，以致他們在仇敵面前再也不能站立得住。他們無論往何處去，耶和華的手都以災禍攻擊他們，正如耶和華所說的，又如耶和華向他們所起的誓；他們就極其困苦。

他行耶和華－他神眼中看為惡的事，沒有謙卑聽從耶利米先知所傳達耶和華的話。尼布甲尼撒王曾叫他指着神起誓，他卻背叛，硬着頸項，內心頑固，不歸向耶和華－以色列的神。眾祭司長和百姓也多多犯罪，效法列國一切可憎的事，玷污耶和華在耶路撒冷分別為聖的殿。耶和華－他們列祖的神因為愛惜自己的百姓和居所，一再差遣使者去警戒他們。他們卻嘲笑神的使者，藐視他的話，譏誚他的先知，以致耶和華向他的百姓大發烈怒，甚至無法可救。
