耶和华的灵必住在他身上，就是使他有智慧和聪明的灵，谋略和能力的灵，知识和敬畏耶和华的灵。

因这但以理有美好的灵性，所以显然超乎其余的总长和总督，王又想立他治理通国。

我就应允你所求的，赐你聪明智慧，甚至在你以前没有像你的，在你以后也没有像你的。

所积蓄的一切智慧知识，都在他里面藏着。

神所差来的就说神的话，因为神赐圣灵给他是没有限量的。

于是使徒按手在他们头上，他们就受了圣灵。西门看见使徒按手，便有圣灵赐下，就拿钱给使徒，说：“把这权柄也给我，叫我手按着谁，谁就可以受圣灵。”

叫他们站在使徒面前。使徒祷告了，就按手在他们头上。

他们回答约书亚说：“你所吩咐我们行的，我们都必行；你所差遣我们去的，我们都必去。我们从前在一切事上怎样听从摩西，现在也必照样听从你；惟愿耶和华你的神与你同在，像与摩西同在一样。无论什么人违背你的命令，不听从你所吩咐他的一切话，就必治死他。你只要刚强壮胆！”

住耶利哥的先知门徒从对面看见他，就说：“感动以利亚的灵感动以利沙了。”他们就来迎接他，在他面前俯伏于地，

我要在那里降临，与你说话，也要把降于你身上的灵分赐他们，他们就和你同当这管百姓的重任，免得你独自担当。

给人行按手的礼，不可急促；不要在别人的罪上有份，要保守自己清洁。

所以求你赐我智慧，可以判断你的民，能辨别是非。不然，谁能判断这众多的民呢？”

我也以我的灵充满了他，使他有智慧，有聪明，有知识，能做各样的工，

耶和华对摩西说：“嫩的儿子约书亚是心中有圣灵的；你将他领来，按手在他头上，使他站在祭司以利亚撒和全会众面前，嘱咐他，又将你的尊荣给他几分，使以色列全会众都听从他。他要站在祭司以利亚撒面前；以利亚撒要凭乌陵的判断，在耶和华面前为他求问。他和以色列全会众都要遵以利亚撒的命出入。”于是摩西照耶和华所吩咐的将约书亚领来，使他站在祭司以利亚撒和全会众面前，按手在他头上，嘱咐他，是照耶和华藉摩西所说的话。

过去之后，以利亚对以利沙说：“我未曾被接去离开你，你要我为你做什么，只管求我。”以利沙说：“愿感动你的灵加倍地感动我。”

你不要轻忽所得的恩赐，就是从前藉着预言、在众长老按手的时候赐给你的。
