Happy[ art] thou, O Israel: who[ is] like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who[ is] the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

以色列族有福祉、誰能頡頏、蒙耶和華拯救、彼可儗干、以範衛爾、亦可儗戈、使爾得勝、敵必諂媚於爾前、爾將履其崇邱。

以色列乎、爾有福祉、何民若爾、為主所救、主護爾如盾、使爾以刃獲勝有榮、敵必諂媚於爾、或作爾敵必服爾爾必履其山岡、

Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.”

Israel, how blessed you are! Who is like you? The Lord has saved you. He keeps you safe. He helps you. He’s like a glorious sword to you. Your enemies will bow down to you in fear. You will walk on the highest places of their lands.”

Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the shield of your help, and the sword of your triumph! Your enemies shall come fawning to you, and you shall tread upon their backs.”

How blessed you are, O Israel! Who else is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your protecting shield and your triumphant sword! Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will stomp on their backs!”

You have joy, Israel! Who is like you? You are a people delivered by the LORD, your protective shield and your exalted sword. May your enemies cringe before you; may you trample on their backs.

You are happy, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by Yahweh, the shield of your help, the sword of your excellency? Your enemies will submit themselves to you. You will tread on their high places.”

Behold, God[ is] my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH[ is] my strength and[ my] song; he also is become my salvation.

[ But] Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

And what one nation in the earth[ is] like thy people,[ even] like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt,[ from] the nations and their gods?

O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he[ is] their help and their shield.O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he[ is] their help and their shield.Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he[ is] their help and their shield.

For the LORD God[ is] a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good[ thing] will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he[ is] our help and our shield.

He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;

For what nation[ is there so] great, who[ hath] God[ so] nigh unto them, as the LORD our God[ is] in all[ things that] we call upon him[ for]?And what nation[ is there so] great, that hath statutes and judgments[ so] righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I[ am] thy shield,[ and] thy exceeding great reward.

As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

The LORD God[ is] my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’[ feet], and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Behold, I have received[ commandment] to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God[ is] with him, and the shout of a king[ is] among them.God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.Surely[ there is] no enchantment against Jacob, neither[ is there] any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat[ of] the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.

Say unto God, How terrible[ art thou in] thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that[ is] in the sea.

Blessed[ is] the nation whose God[ is] the LORD;[ and] the people[ whom] he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance[ was] as the sun shineth in his strength.

How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob,[ and] thy tabernacles, O Israel!

And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

Gird thy sword upon[ thy] thigh, O[ most] mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.

If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

Happy[ is that] people, that is in such a case:[ yea], happy[ is that] people, whose God[ is] the LORD.

And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which[ sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the[ one] end of the land even to the[ other] end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.

For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness,[ and] with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow[ withal]: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.

Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.

The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

O thou sword of the LORD, how long[ will it be] ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still.
