with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness and the favor of him who dwelt in the burning bush. Let all these rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince among his brothers.

「這摩西就是他們拒絕說『誰委任你做首領和審判官』的那位，神卻藉著那在荊棘中向他顯現的天使的手，差派他做首領、做救贖者。

大地和其中所充滿的，世界和住在其中的，都屬於耶和華，

關於死人復活的事，你們難道沒有讀過摩西書『荊棘篇』上，神怎樣對摩西說的嗎？神說『我是亞伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神。』

他們就為約瑟單獨擺了飯，為那些人另擺了一席，也為那些與約瑟一起吃飯的埃及人又擺了一席，因為埃及人不能夠與希伯來人同席吃飯；那是埃及人所憎惡的。

「在至高之處，榮耀歸於神！在地上，平安臨到他所喜悅的人！」

諸天屬於你，大地也屬於你；世界和其中所充滿的，都是你奠定的。

但如果有人對你們說：「這是祭過偶像的食物」，那麼，為了那指明這事的人和良心的緣故，你們就不要吃——

「你們趕快上到我父親那裡去，對他說：『你的兒子約瑟這樣說：「神立我作了全埃及的主；請你下到我這裡來，不要耽延。你和你的眾兒孫、你的羊群、牛群，以及一切屬於你的，都可以住在歌珊地，在我的附近。我要在那裡供應你，免得你和你的家人，以及一切屬於你的，都陷入窮困，因為還會有五年的饑荒。」』

這樣一位聖潔、沒有邪惡、毫無玷汙、與罪人分開、高過諸天的大祭司，對我們實在是合宜的。

於是，那些米甸商人經過的時候，哥哥們就把約瑟從坑裡拉上來，以二十塊的銀價把他賣給以實瑪利人；那些人就把約瑟帶往埃及去了。

我就算飢餓，也不用對你說，因為世界和其中所充滿的都是我的。

並且為了不讓我因這些極大的啟示而高抬自己，有一根刺加在我的肉體上，就是撒旦的使者來擊打我，免得我高抬自己。為了這事，我三次求主使這根刺離開我。但他對我說：「我的恩典是夠你用的，因為我的大能在軟弱中得以完全。」因此，我反而極其樂意地誇耀我的那些軟弱，好讓基督的能力遮蓋在我身上。所以，為了基督的緣故，我在那些軟弱中、凌辱中、艱難中、在逼迫和困苦中，都感到喜悅；因為我什麼時候軟弱，什麼時候就剛強了。

耶和華與約瑟同在，他就成為事事順利的人。他住在他埃及主人的家中。他主人見耶和華與他同在，又見耶和華使他手上所做的一切都順利；

你父親的祝福勝過我祖先的祝福，達到永世山嶺的極限。願這些祝福臨到約瑟的頭上，就是臨到從兄弟中分別出來的那位的頭頂。

過了四十年，在西奈山的曠野，一位天使在荊棘火焰中向摩西顯現。摩西見了這景象，感到驚奇。正當他上前要觀看的時候，有主的聲音說：『我是你祖先的神，就是亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的神。』摩西戰戰兢兢，不敢觀看。「主對他說：『脫掉你腳上的鞋，因為你站的地方是聖地。

因為「大地和其中的一切都屬於主。」

後來，那些米甸人把約瑟賣到埃及，賣給了法老的一個內臣，護衛長波提乏。
