昔在汛野、米利巴迦鐵之處爾曹逆我、不於以色列族前尊我、

因昔在汛野、在迦叠米利巴水、爾曹在以色列人中違逆我、不在其中尊我為聖故、

This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites.

You and Aaron disobeyed me in front of the Israelites. It happened at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin. You did not honor me among the Israelites as the holy God.

because you broke faith with me in the midst of the people of Israel at the waters of Meribah-kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, and because you did not treat me as holy in the midst of the people of Israel.

For both of you betrayed me with the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel there.

For both of you broke faith with me among the Israelites at the Waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat me as holy in their presence.

because you broke faith with Me in the midst of the sons of Israel at the waters of Meribah kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, because you did not treat Me as holy in the midst of the sons of Israel.

because you trespassed against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you did not hallow Me in the midst of the children of Israel.

because ye trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

For both of you broke faith with Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat Me as holy in their presence.

Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

for both of you rebelled against me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the desert of Zin when you did not show me proper respect among the Israelites.

because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you didn’t uphold my holiness among the children of Israel.

因為在尋的曠野，會眾爭鬧的時候，你們違背了我的命令，沒有在湧水之地，在會眾眼前尊我為聖。”這湧水之地在尋的曠野，就是加低斯的米利巴水。

摩西舉手，用杖擊打磐石兩次，就有很多水流出來，會眾和他們的牲畜都喝了。耶和華對摩西和亞倫說：“因為你們不信我，不在以色列人眼前尊我為聖，所以你們必不得領這會眾進入我賜給他們的地。”這就是米利巴水，因為以色列人在那裡與耶和華爭鬧，耶和華在他們中間顯為聖。摩西從加低斯派使者去見以東王說：“你的兄弟以色列這樣說：你知道我們遭遇的一切困難，

於是摩西對亞倫說：“這就是耶和華曾經告訴我們的，他說：‘在親近我的人中，我要顯為聖，在眾人面前，我要得榮耀。’”亞倫就默然無語。

因為審判從神的家開始，就在這時候了。如果先從我們起頭，那不信從神福音的人，結局將要怎樣呢？

“那時，我懇求耶和華，說：‘主耶和華啊，你已經把你的偉大和你有能力的手顯給你的僕人看；在天上地下，哪一個神能有像你所作的工作，能有像你所行的奇事呢？求你讓我過去，看看約旦河西的美地，就是那美好的山地和黎巴嫩。’但耶和華為了你們的緣故，向我發怒，不聽我的懇求；耶和華對我說：‘罷了，不要向我再提這事了。你要上毗斯迦山頂去，舉目向東、南、西、北，親眼觀看，因為你不能過這約旦河。

“亞倫要歸到他本族人那裡去，他必不得進入我賜給以色列人的那地，因為在米利巴水的事上，你們違背了我的吩咐。

他就對那從猶大來的神人喊叫，說：“耶和華這樣說：‘你既然違背了耶和華的命令，沒有謹守耶和華你的神吩咐你的誡命，反倒回來，在耶和華吩咐你不可吃飯喝水的地方，吃了飯喝了水，因此，你的屍體不能入葬你列祖的墳墓裡。’”吃了飯喝了水之後，老先知為他帶回來的先知備驢。他就去了；在路上有一隻獅子遇見了他，就把他咬死了。他的屍體被丟在路上，驢子站在屍體旁邊，獅子也站在屍體旁邊。有人從那裡經過，看見屍體被丟在路上，獅子站在屍體旁邊，就來到老先知所住的城裡，述說這事。那把神人從路上帶回來的先知聽見了這事，就說：“這是那違背了耶和華命令的神人；耶和華把他交給獅子，獅子就把他撕裂，咬死了他，正如耶和華對他說過的話。”

你們要尊萬軍之耶和華為聖，他是你們當怕的，也是你們當畏懼的。
