[ So] the LORD alone did lead him, and[ there was] no strange god with him.

The Lord alone led him; no foreign god was with him.

The Lord was the only one who led Israel. No other god was with them.

But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared[ it]? ye[ are] even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea,[ there is] no God; I know not[ any].

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy,[ and] he fought against them.Then he remembered the days of old, Moses,[ and] his people,[ saying], Where[ is] he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where[ is] he that put his holy Spirit within him?That led[ them] by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?That led them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness,[ that] they should not stumble?

Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest[ between] the cherubims, shine forth.

And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.

To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go.

See now that I,[ even] I,[ am] he, and[ there is] no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither[ is there any] that can deliver out of my hand.

Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

And[ even] to[ your] old age I[ am] he; and[ even] to hoar hairs will I carry[ you]: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver[ you].

In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.

I,[ even] I,[ am] the LORD; and beside me[ there is] no saviour.I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when[ there was] no strange[ god] among you: therefore ye[ are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I[ am] God.
