主爾之天主、必導於爾前以過、將滅此諸國之民、爾必得其地、約書亞必導爾渡河、遵主所言、

The Lord your God himself will cross over ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will take possession of their land. Joshua also will cross over ahead of you, as the Lord said.

The Lord your God himself will go across ahead of you. He’ll destroy the nations there in order to make room for you. You will take over their land. Joshua will also go across ahead of you, just as the Lord said he would.

The Lord your God himself will go over before you. He will destroy these nations before you, so that you shall dispossess them, and Joshua will go over at your head, as the Lord has spoken.

你今日应当知道，耶和华—你的神在你前面渡过去，如同吞噬的火，要除灭他们，并要在你面前将他们制伏，使你可以赶出他们，速速消灭他们，正如耶和华向你所说的。

你却要吩咐约书亚，勉励他，使他壮胆，因为他必在这百姓前面过去，使他们承受你所要观看之地。’

在那日，耶和华使约书亚在以色列众人眼前被尊为大。在他一生的年日中，百姓敬服他，像从前敬服摩西一样。

“我的仆人摩西死了。现在你要起来，和众百姓过这约旦河，往我所要赐给以色列人的地去。

耶和华吩咐嫩的儿子约书亚说：“你当刚强壮胆，因为你必领以色列人进入我所起誓应许他们的地，我必与你同在。”

若是约书亚已使他们享了安息，后来神就不会再提别的日子了。

你们不要倚靠君王，不要倚靠世人，他一点也不能帮助。他的气一断，就归回尘土，他所打算的，当日就消灭了。以雅各的神为帮助、仰望耶和华—他神的，这人有福了！耶和华造天、地、海和其中的万物，他守信实，直到永远。

你曾用手赶出外邦人，却栽培了我们的列祖；你苦待万民，却叫我们的列祖发达。因为他们不是靠自己的刀剑承受土地，也不是靠自己的膀臂得胜，而是靠你的右手、你的膀臂，和你脸上的亮光，因为你喜爱他们。

这帐幕，我们的祖宗同约书亚相继承受了，当神在他们面前赶走外邦人的时候，他们把这帐幕搬进承受为业之地，直存到大卫的日子。

耶和华对摩西说：“嫩的儿子约书亚是一个有圣灵的人；你要领他来，为他按手，使他站在以利亚撒祭司和全会众面前，在他们眼前委派他，又将你的尊荣给他一些，好使以色列全会众都听从他。他要站在以利亚撒祭司面前；以利亚撒要凭乌陵的判断，在耶和华面前为他求问。他和以色列全会众都要照以利亚撒的指示出入。”

耶和华对摩西说：“看哪，你的死期已近了。要召约书亚来，和你一起站在会幕里，我好吩咐他。”于是摩西和约书亚去站在会幕里。

摩西召了约书亚来，在以色列众人眼前对他说：“你当刚强壮胆！因为你要和这百姓一同进入耶和华向他们列祖起誓要给他们的地，你也要使他们承受那地为业。耶和华必在你前面行，他必亲自与你同在，必不撇下你，也不丢弃你。你不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。”

嫩的儿子约书亚，因为摩西曾为他按手，他就被智慧的灵充满。以色列人听从他，照着耶和华所吩咐摩西的去做。

耶和华对约书亚说：“从今日起，我必使你在以色列众人眼前被尊为大，使他们知道我怎样与摩西同在，也必照样与你同在。

以色列又对约瑟说：“看哪，我快要死了，但神必与你们同在，领你们回到你们祖先之地。
