主爾之天主、必導於爾前以過、將滅此諸國之民、爾必得其地、約書亞必導爾渡河、遵主所言、

The Lord your God himself will cross over ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will take possession of their land. Joshua also will cross over ahead of you, as the Lord said.

爾今當知主爾之天主必行於爾前、如猛烈之火、必敗之於爾前翦滅之、爾將急驅逐之、除滅之、循主所許爾者、

爾當命約書亞強其心、壯其志、因其必導斯民、必以爾所將見之地分予為業、

當日主使約書亞為尊於以色列眾之目前、約書亞在世時、民畏之、如昔畏摩西然、

我僕摩西死矣、今爾起、導斯眾民、過此約但、至我所賜以色列人之地、

主諭嫩之子約書亞曰、當強爾心壯爾志、因爾必導以色列人入我所誓彼之地、我必祐爾、○

若約書亞曾使民得安息、則後必不復言他日、

爾曹休倚君王、休賴世人、彼皆不能施救、其氣一斷、即歸塵埃、其計謀即日泯滅、蒙雅各之天主扶助、仰望主其天主者、斯人便為有福、主造天地與海及其間之萬物、守誠實至於永遠、

主手驅逐異邦人、栽培我列祖、將彼滅絕、使我列祖蕃衍、我列祖非仗兵刃得地、亦非恃己之勇力得勝、乃賴主之右手、主之聖臂、主面上之榮光、因蒙主喜悅、

此幕我列祖承受之、與約書亞攜入所得列族之地、其諸族天主於我列祖前逐之、法幕傳至大衛、

主諭摩西曰、嫩之子約書亞、其人感於神、爾可攜之至、按手於其首、使立於祭司以利亞撒及會眾前、在其目前命之、又以爾之尊榮加諸其身、使以色列會眾無不聽從、彼立祭司以利亞撒前、以利亞撒為之在主前問烏陵、彼與以色列人會眾出入、當循以利亞撒所傳之命、

主諭摩西曰、爾死期近矣、當召約書亞同立於會幕、我將命之、摩西約書亞往立於會幕、

摩西召約書亞、在以色列眾前告之曰、爾當強爾心壯爾志、爾必與民偕往、入主所誓於其祖欲賜之之地、爾必使民得之為業、主必導於爾前、庇祐爾、不棄爾、勿恐懼、勿畏葸、○

嫩之子約書亞因摩西曾按手於其首、故充以智慧之神、以色列人聽從之、遵主所諭摩西者而行、

主諭約書亞曰、我今日始使爾為尊於以色列眾之目前、俾其知我昔祐摩西、今亦祐爾、

以色列又語約瑟曰、我將死矣、天主必祐爾、使爾返於爾列祖之地、
