爾之丁男、必至上帝耶和華特簡之室、歲凡三次、即無酵節、七七日節、搆廬節、覲耶和華時、毋徒手而至。既蒙爾上帝耶和華錫嘏、各隨其力、而供給焉。○

蓋自古以來、各邑會堂、每安息日、讀摩西經、而傳其道也、

翌日、族中最著者、及祭司、利未人、見選士以士喇、欲明律書所言、

七月將屆、以色列族咸集於水門衢、惟一心、請選士以士喇、攜耶和華所命摩西傳以色列族律例之書。七月朔、眾男女、凡能聽而知之者、咸在水門衢、祭司以士喇抱書至、自朝至於日中、當眾前誦讀、僉聆斯義。

讀律例先知書畢、宰會堂者使人問曰、兄弟、若有勸民之語、請言之、

我必為爾驅除其民、恢廓爾境、我為爾之上帝耶和華、爾必覲我、歲凡三次、於此時必無人覬覦爾地。

行程遞進、其力愈奮、終詣郇邑、得覲上帝兮。

爾所植於田者、當初穡時、必守節禮、歲聿云暮、盡收所產、亦必守節禮。爾之丁男、覲於我耶和華前、歲凡三次。

是日一時四刻、立於其次、誦上帝耶和華律例之書、又一時四刻、任罪崇拜上帝。

往長育之拿撒勒、於安息日、循例入會堂、立而誦讀、有以先知以賽亞書與之、開卷見所載云、

守節七日、越八日有大會、俱循常例、自始至終、以士喇日誦上帝律例之書。
