That’s when all the Israelites come to appear in front of the Lord your God at the holy tent. It will be at the place he will choose. You must read this law to them.

Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah stood beside him on his right; to his left were Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hash-baddanah, Zechariah, and Meshullam.Ezra opened the book in full view of all the people, since he was elevated above everyone. As he opened it, all the people stood up.Ezra praised the Lord, the great God, and with their hands uplifted all the people said,“ Amen, Amen!” Then they bowed down and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah, who were Levites, explained the law to the people as they stood in their places.They read out of the book of the law of God, translating and giving the meaning so that the people could understand what was read.

After the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the leaders of the synagogue sent word to them, saying,“ Brothers, if you have any message of encouragement for the people, you can speak.”

For I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your territory. No one will covet your land when you go up three times a year to appear before the Lord your God.

They go from strength to strength; each appears before God in Zion.

Also observe the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of your produce from what you sow in the field, and observe the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather your produce from the field.Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord God.
