受不受割禮都算不得什麼，最要緊的是遵行上帝的誡命。

所以你們要悔改，歸向上帝，祂將除去你們一切的罪惡，

我先在大馬士革，然後到耶路撒冷、猶太全境和外族人當中勸人悔改歸向上帝，行事為人要與悔改的心相稱。

但你們若在那裡尋求你們的上帝耶和華，全心全意地尋求祂，就必尋見。

你們必再次聽從耶和華，遵行今天祂藉我吩咐你們的一切誡命。

惡人棄惡行義，必因義行而存活。

你們為什麼花錢買不能充饑的食物？為什麼拿辛苦賺來的錢買不能令人飽足的東西？要留心聽我的話，就可以吃美物，享受豐盛的佳餚。你們要到我這裡來，側耳聽我的話，就必得到生命。我要跟你們立永久的約，將應許給大衛的可靠恩福賜給你們。

我雖對惡人說他必定要死，但他若改邪歸正，行事公正仁義，

你要告訴他們，主耶和華說，「我憑我的永恆起誓，我絕不喜歡惡人死亡，我更願意惡人改邪歸正，得以存活。以色列人啊，回頭吧！回頭吧！改邪歸正吧！何必自取滅亡呢？」』

我們要省察自己的行為，重新歸向耶和華。讓我們舉起雙手，誠心向天上的上帝禱告說：

但如果你們轉向我，謹遵我的誡命，即使你們流落天涯，我也必從那裡把你們召集到我選為我名所在之地。』

「惡人若肯痛改前非，遵守我的律例，秉公行義，就必活著，不致死亡。
