But because of you the Lord was angry with me and would not listen to me.“ That is enough,” the Lord said.“ Do not speak to me anymore about this matter.

耶和华为你的缘故也向我发怒，说：‘你必不得进入那地。

说：“我现在一百二十岁了，不能照常出入；耶和华也曾对我说：‘你必不得过这约旦河。’

他们在米利巴水又叫耶和华发怒，甚至摩西也受了亏损，是因他们惹动他的灵，摩西用嘴说了急躁的话。

耶和华对他说：“这就是我向亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许之地，说：‘我必将这地赐给你的后裔。’现在我使你眼睛看见了，你却不得过到那里去。”

对所罗门说：“我儿啊，我心里本想为耶和华我神的名建造殿宇，只是耶和华的话临到我说：‘你流了多人的血，打了多次大仗，你不可为我的名建造殿宇，因为你在我眼前使多人的血流在地上。你要生一个儿子，他必作太平的人；我必使他安静，不被四围的仇敌扰乱。他的名要叫所罗门。他在位的日子，我必使以色列人平安康泰。

因为你们在寻的旷野，加低斯的米利巴水，在以色列人中没有尊我为圣，得罪了我。我所赐给以色列人的地，你可以远远地观看，却不得进去。”

“你去告诉我仆人大卫，说耶和华如此说：‘你不可建造殿宇给我居住。

耶和华晓谕摩西说：“你拿着杖去，和你的哥哥亚伦招聚会众，在他们眼前吩咐磐石发出水来，水就从磐石流出，给会众和他们的牲畜喝。”于是摩西照耶和华所吩咐的，从耶和华面前取了杖去。摩西、亚伦就招聚会众到磐石前。摩西说：“你们这些背叛的人听我说：我为你们使水从这磐石中流出来吗？”摩西举手，用杖击打磐石两下，就有许多水流出来，会众和他们的牲畜都喝了。耶和华对摩西、亚伦说：“因为你们不信我，不在以色列人眼前尊我为圣，所以你们必不得领这会众进我所赐给他们的地去。”

为这事，我三次求过主，叫这刺离开我。

他就稍往前走，俯伏在地，祷告说：“我父啊，倘若可行，求你叫这杯离开我。然而，不要照我的意思，只要照你的意思。”

耶和华对摩西说：“你上这亚巴琳山，观看我所赐给以色列人的地。看了以后，你也必归到你列祖那里，像你哥哥亚伦一样。因为你们在寻的旷野，当会众争闹的时候，违背了我的命，没有在涌水之地、会众眼前尊我为圣。”（这水就是寻的旷野加低斯米利巴水。）

他必为我建造殿宇；我必坚定他的国位直到永远。我要作他的父，他要作我的子；并不使我的慈爱离开他，像离开在你以前的扫罗一样。

大卫王就站起来，说：“我的弟兄，我的百姓啊，你们当听我言，我心里本想建造殿宇，安放耶和华的约柜，作为我神的脚凳；我已经预备建造的材料。只是神对我说：‘你不可为我的名建造殿宇；因你是战士，流了人的血。’然而，耶和华以色列的神在我父的全家拣选我作以色列的王，直到永远。因他拣选犹大为首领；在犹大支派中拣选我父家，在我父的众子里喜悦我，立我作以色列众人的王。

哪知他为我们的过犯受害，为我们的罪孽压伤。因他受的刑罚，我们得平安；因他受的鞭伤，我们得医治。我们都如羊走迷；各人偏行己路；耶和华使我们众人的罪孽都归在他身上。

耶稣回答说：“你们不知道所求的是什么；我将要喝的杯，你们能喝吗？”他们说：“我们能。”
