“那时，我吩咐你们说：‘耶和华—你们的神已将这地赐给你们为业；你们所有的勇士都要带着兵器，在你们的弟兄以色列人前面过去。

「那時，我吩咐你們說：『耶和華－你們的神已將這地賜給你們為業；你們所有的勇士都要帶着兵器，在你們的弟兄以色列人前面過去。

「那時我吩咐他們，『你們的上帝耶和華已經把這些地方賜給你們，但你們所有的戰士必須帶著兵器過河，做同胞的先鋒。

“那時，我吩咐你們：‘耶和華你們的神，已經把這地賜給你們作產業了；你們所有的戰士，都要預備好，在你們的兄弟以色列人面前過河去。

『那時我吩咐你們說：「永恆主你們的上帝已將這地賜給你們去取得它；你們一切有力氣的人都要武裝好，好在你們族弟兄以色列人前面過去。

時、我命爾曰、爾上帝耶和華、既以斯土錫爾為業、爾之勇士、必皆執兵、先爾兄弟以色列人而往、

當時我諭之曰、爾之上帝耶和華雖以斯土錫爾、然爾之軍旅必備以戰、先爾同儕以色列族而遄征、

當時我諭爾曹得斯地之人曰、主爾之天主、既以斯地賜爾為業、爾中所有戰士必執器械、在爾同族同族原文作兄弟以色列人前先往、

I commanded you at that time:“ The Lord your God has given you this land to take possession of it. But all your able- bodied men, armed for battle, must cross over ahead of the other Israelites.

Here is the command I gave at that time to the tribes of Reuben and Gad and half of the tribe of Manasseh. I said,“ The Lord your God has given you this land as your very own. But all your strong men must be prepared for battle. They must cross over ahead of the rest of the Israelites.

“ And I commanded you at that time, saying,‘ The Lord your God has given you this land to possess. All your men of valor shall cross over armed before your brothers, the people of Israel.

“ At that time I gave this command to the tribes that would live east of the Jordan:‘ Although the Lord your God has given you this land as your property, all your fighting men must cross the Jordan ahead of your Israelite relatives, armed and ready to assist them.

“ I commanded you at that time: The LORD your God has given you this land to possess. All your valiant men will cross over in battle formation ahead of your brothers the Israelites.

“ Then I commanded you at that time, saying,‘ The Lord your God has given you this land to possess it; all you valiant men shall cross over armed ahead of your brothers, the sons of Israel.

“ Then I commanded you at that time, saying:‘ The Lord your God has given you this land to possess. All you men of valor shall cross over armed before your brethren, the children of Israel.

And I commanded you at that time, saying, Jehovah your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all the men of valor.

“ I commanded you at that time: The Lord your God has given you this land to possess. All your fighting men will cross over in battle formation ahead of your brothers the Israelites.

And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all[ that are] meet for the war.

At that time I instructed you as follows:“ The LORD your God has given you this land for your possession. You warriors are to cross over before your fellow Israelites equipped for battle.

I commanded you at that time, saying,“ Yahweh your God has given you this land to possess it. All of you men of valor shall pass over armed before your brothers, the children of Israel.

摩西说：“如果你们信守承诺，拿起兵器在耶和华面前出战，你们全军就要在耶和华面前渡过约旦河，直到祂赶走祂面前的仇敌，征服那地方。之后，你们才可以回家，才算在耶和华和以色列人面前尽了自己的责任，这地方就在耶和华面前归给你们作产业。但如果你们不守承诺，就是得罪耶和华，必难逃惩罚。你们现在去为家人筑城邑，为牛羊建围栏吧，但别忘了信守承诺。”

吕便支派、迦得支派和玛拿西半个支派的人照摩西从前的嘱咐，带着兵器走在以色列人的前面。大约有四万全副武装的以色列人在耶和华面前过了河，前往耶利哥平原，准备作战。

约书亚召来了吕便、迦得和玛拿西半个支派的人来，对他们说：“你们都遵守了耶和华的仆人摩西的一切吩咐，也遵守了我的一切吩咐。这些日子以来，你们从没有离弃自己的弟兄，遵守了你们的上帝耶和华的吩咐。现在你们的上帝耶和华已经照祂的应许使你们的弟兄安居，你们可以回到约旦河东，到摩西赐给你们作产业的地方。不过，你们要谨遵耶和华的仆人摩西吩咐你们的诫命和律法，要爱你们的上帝耶和华，遵行祂的旨意，听从祂的命令，忠于祂，全心全意地事奉祂。”于是，约书亚为他们祝福，送他们回去，他们就各自返回家园去了。摩西已经在巴珊把土地分给了玛拿西半个支派，约书亚把约旦河西的土地分给了玛拿西另外的半个支派及其他支派。约书亚派他们回家的时候，为他们祝福，说：“现在你们带着大量的财物、牲畜、金银、铜、铁和衣物返回家园，要把从敌人那里得来的财物分给你们的弟兄。”于是，吕便、迦得和玛拿西半个支派的人便离开在迦南的示罗的以色列人，返回耶和华借摩西分配给他们的基列。

约书亚又对吕便支派、迦得支派和玛拿西半个支派的人说：“你们要牢记耶和华的仆人摩西吩咐你们的话，他说你们的上帝耶和华要把约旦河东面的土地赐给你们，让你们安居。你们的妻子儿女和牲畜可以留在约旦河东岸摩西分给你们的土地上，但你们当中所有的勇士要带着兵器先过约旦河，帮助你们的弟兄。要等到你们的上帝耶和华使你们的弟兄像你们一样得到祂所赐的土地，安居以后，你们才可以回到约旦河东，在耶和华的仆人摩西分给你们的土地上定居。”
