猶大王耶路撒冷民、宜聽耶和華之言、萬有之主以色列族之上帝耶和華云、我必降災於斯土、聽之者必震其耳。彼違逆予、凟我聖所、在此焚香、以敬他上帝、他上帝之聖名、自厥祖以迄子孫、更逮猶大國王、未嘗聞也、亦殺無辜、流血遍染此所。彼事巴力、築崇丘以奉之、焚子女以獻之、我所嚴禁、我所痛疾。耶和華又曰、時日將至、人必不復以陀法便欣嫩谷名斯土、而以殺戮稱之。蓋在斯土、猶大及耶路撒冷人之謀、我必敗之、使陷於敵手、殞於鋒刃、其尸駭為飛鳥走獸所食。我必使此邑荒蕪、人發怨聲、過斯土者見此鞠凶、則驚愕欷歔不已。爰遇群敵、環而攻之、勢甚危迫欲殲其命、子女友朋之肉、民相殘食、我使之然。斯言既竟、當毀陶器、使同行者目擊焉。告眾曰、萬有之主耶和華曰、我必毀此邑民、猶毀陶器、不能復完、死者既眾、無地可埋、咸葬於陀法、耶和華又曰、我必視此邑民、有如陀法、猶大王宮殿、耶路撒冷廬舍、必視為污衊、無異陀法、蓋在樓巔、人焚香以奉天象、酒以灌奠、崇敬他上帝、○

導其祖出埃及之上帝耶和華、反背之、四周民之上帝、則尊崇伏拜之、以是干耶和華震怒。蓋背耶和華事巴力亞大綠、

在昔斯民、特簡素所未識之上帝、於是戰鬥及於門內、當此之時以色列族四萬人中、欲求一干戈而不得。

昔以色列族之上帝耶和華、導民出埃及、脫於法老之手、厥後以色列族獲罪於耶和華寅畏他上帝。耶和華驅逐異邦人、所遺之禮儀、民從之、以色列列王所擅立之禮儀、民亦從之、私行非義於其上帝耶和華前、自戍樓以至邑垣、悉建崇坵、高岡之巔茂林之下、立諸偶像、從耶和華所驅之異邦人、在諸崇坵、焚香行諸惡事、干耶和華震怒、犯耶和華禁、役事偶像。耶和華遣其先知先見者、責以色列猶大二族、曰、當棄惡行、守我禁令禮儀、從我所命諸先知、傳爾列祖之律例、斯民弗聽、強項不馴、不信其上帝耶和華、與列祖無異。昔上帝與列祖立約、斯民背之、棄其所命、違其禮儀、崇事虛無、亦為放誕、四周之異邦人、耶和華曾命、勿效其尤、彼不聽從、反崇信焉、棄其上帝耶和華之命、鑄二金犢、樹立木偶、崇拜天象、奉事巴力、焚獻子女、專用卜筮、維惡是務、干耶和華震怒。故耶和華怒以色列族、驅於其前、靡有孑遺、所餘者惟猶大族而已。

耶和華將使爾散處於億兆中自地極至天涯、在彼必事他上帝、木石所作、即爾祖及爾素未識者。

行惡於上帝耶和華前、先知耶利米雖諭以耶和華命、猶不痛自怨艾、尼布甲尼撒王使之指上帝而誓、永不離叛、王猶強項不馴、剛愎乃心、不歸以色列族之上帝耶和華、更背尼布甲尼撒王。眾祭司長與兆民、效尤異邦、多蹈罪愆、在耶路撒冷、耶和華之殿、業已肅清、復污衊之、其列祖之上帝耶和華、矜憫其民、視其殿為貴重、數遣使訓誨之、彼譏上帝之使、藐視其命、侮其先知、干耶和華震怒、不復援手、使迦勒底王至、在聖室中、戮諸壯士、凡丁男、處女、耆年、耄耋者、俱無所惜、見虜於敵。
