Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the Lord will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart.

Among those nations you won’t find any peace. There won’t be any place where you can make your home and rest your feet. The Lord will give you minds filled with worry. He’ll give you eyes worn out from looking for help. You won’t have any hope in your hearts.

And among these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but the Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and a languishing soul.

There among those nations you will find no peace or place to rest. And the Lord will cause your heart to tremble, your eyesight to fail, and your soul to despair.

你的民三分之一必遭瘟疫而死，在你中间必因饥荒消灭；三分之一必在你四围倒在刀下；我必将三分之一分散四方，并要拔刀追赶他们。“我要这样成就怒中所定的；我向他们发的忿怒止息了，自己就得着安慰。我在他们身上成就怒中所定的那时，他们就知道我耶和华所说的是出于热心；并且我必使你在四围的列国中，在经过的众人眼前，成了荒凉和羞辱。这样，我必以怒气和忿怒，并烈怒的责备，向你施行审判。那时，你就在四围的列国中成为羞辱、讥刺、警戒、惊骇。这是我耶和华说的。那时，我要将灭人、使人饥荒的恶箭，就是射去灭人的，射在你们身上，并要加增你们的饥荒，断绝你们所倚靠的粮食；又要使饥荒和恶兽到你那里，叫你丧子，瘟疫和流血的事也必盛行在你那里；我也要使刀剑临到你。这是我耶和华说的。”

“耶和华必如狮子吼叫，子民必跟随他。他一吼叫，他们就从西方急速而来。他们必如雀鸟从埃及急速而来，又如鸽子从亚述地来到。我必使他们住自己的房屋。这是耶和华说的。”

耶路撒冷啊，兴起！兴起！站起来！你从耶和华手中喝了他忿怒之杯，喝了那使人东倒西歪的爵，以致喝尽。

“你们说：我们要像外邦人和列国的宗族一样，去侍奉木头与石头。你们所起的这心意万不能成就。”主耶和华说：“我指着我的永生起誓，我总要作王，用大能的手和伸出来的膀臂，并倾出来的忿怒，治理你们。我必用大能的手和伸出来的膀臂，并倾出来的忿怒，将你们从万民中领出来，从分散的列国内聚集你们。我必带你们到外邦人的旷野，在那里当面刑罚你们。

天势都要震动，人想起那将要临到世界的事，就都吓得魂不附体。

“人子啊，你吃饭必胆战，喝水必惶惶忧虑。你要对这地的百姓说：主耶和华论耶路撒冷和以色列地的居民如此说，他们吃饭必忧虑，喝水必惊惶。因其中居住的众人所行强暴的事，这地必然荒废，一无所存。

“我必出令，将以色列家分散在列国中，好像用筛子筛谷，连一粒也不落在地上。我民中的一切罪人说：‘灾祸必追不上我们，也迎不着我们。’他们必死在刀下。”

我听见耶和华的声音，身体战兢，嘴唇发颤，骨中朽烂；我在所立之处战兢。我只可安静等候灾难之日临到，犯境之民上来。

但遍地上都是水，鸽子找不着落脚之地，就回到方舟挪亚那里，挪亚伸手把鸽子接进方舟来。
