爾曹初如天星之眾多、以爾不聽從主爾天主之命、故所遺者無幾、

你们先前虽然像天上的星那样多，却因不听从耶和华你神的话，所剩的人数就稀少了。

You who were as numerous as the stars in the sky will be left but few in number, because you did not obey the Lord your God.

At one time you were as many as the stars in the sky. But there will only be a few of you left. That’s because you didn’t obey the Lord your God.

Whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven, you shall be left few in number, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God.

Though you become as numerous as the stars in the sky, few of you will be left because you would not listen to the Lord your God.

若主不稍減其日、則無一人得救、惟天主為其所救之選民、已稍減其日、

亞蘭王翦滅約哈斯之民、蹂躪如塵沙、惟遺馬卒五十、戰車十乘、步卒一萬、從約哈斯、

故災禍災禍原文作咒詛毀地、居之者受譴、地之居民、如被火焚、遺者無幾、

我必使野獸入爾境、吞爾子女、噬爾牲畜、使爾人數寡少、致道路荒涼、

尼布甲尼撒所擄之民、其數如左、尼布甲尼撒七年、擄猶大民三千二十三人、尼布甲尼撒十八年、自耶路撒冷擄八百三十二人、尼布甲尼撒二十三年、侍衛長尼布撒拉旦擄猶大民七百四十五人、通計四千六百人、○

若萬有之主、不為我儕少有所遺、則必如所多瑪然、與俄摩拉無異矣、
